Leicesterpool Posted 5 January 2020 Posted 5 January 2020 Maybe an home tie with team with a decent following like Derby or Sheffield Wednesday.
Harry - LCFC Posted 5 January 2020 Posted 5 January 2020 A home tie against Football League opposition. Not just because it gives us the best chance of getting through, but it should allow for another singing section!
Dan Posted 5 January 2020 Posted 5 January 2020 You know what I actually don't think I'd be that upset with Liverpool at home. If they went with a similar XI to today we'd go through.

NewEnglandFox Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 1 Leicester City 2 Queens Park Rangers 3 Fulham 4 Chelsea 5 Wolverhampton Wanderers or Manchester United 6 West Bromwich Albion 7 Rochdale or Newcastle United 8 Cardiff City or Carlisle United 9 Oxford United 10 Sheffield United 11 Southampton 12 Liverpool 13 Bristol City or Shrewsbury Town 14 AFC Bournemouth 15 Sheffield Wednesday 16 Bristol Rovers or Coventry City 17 Barnsley 18 Manchester City 19 Middlesbrough or Tottenham Hotspur 20 Reading or Blackpool 21 Watford or Tranmere Rovers 22 Norwich City 23 Millwall 24 Derby County 25 Hull City 26 Brentford 27 Portsmouth 28 Arsenal or Leeds United 29 West Ham United 30 Northampton Town 31 Burnley 32 Birmingham City
Dan Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 It'll be 1 v 5. We've had a few good draws now. We're due a shocker. Chelsea would be horrific, just before we play them in the league too. Everybody we play this month is in the hat. Bar Villa.
Deeg67 Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 I almost never have premonitions but for some reason I’m feeling Hull away.
Aus Fox Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 Derby at home. Weeks of being built as the Wagatha Christie Derby, only for neither of them to play. The usual 4-0 home win, with all goals from home grown players, Barnes 2, Chilwell and Hamza with another world is. Liverpool will get Man Utd (After they beat wolves) Man City will get Bristol Rovers it Cov at home. Chelsea v Leeds (after they upset Arsenal) Spurs will travel to Millwall. and a big Portsmouth v Southampton game.

jonthefox Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 Fulham away please. For no other reason than I’ve never been.

Nalis Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 Nightmare draw would be Man City or Chelsea away. Dream draw would be someone shite at home, preferably a lower league team resting players.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 Big cup draws in the early stages aren't attractive anymore. We're not like Notts Forest anymore where a trip to Stamford Bridge is a novelty and something to get excited about. Easy draw at home please, let's progress with as little fuss as possible.
Stuntman_Mike Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 I'd fancy us to beat anyone to be honest. I'd prefer a home game though.
Nick Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 Shrewsbury Northampton or Millwall would all be fun. More likely though we will draw West Brom or Sheffield Utd.

Millwall seem to like to FA Cup. In the last 6 years they've had 2 quarter finals, a semi final and 1 fifth round. For a second tier team (they were actually League One for one of the quarters) that's a great record. I'd rather steer clear of them thanks.

How good would Shrewsbury at home be? Get ahead, Kasper picks up a knock, Harvey Barnes goes in goal, he picks up an injury we go down to 10 men, Mark Albrighton goes in goal. Barnes comes back on, Albrighton back on the wing to provide a couple to assists. We go through... everyone goes home happy.

I’ve never been to their ground and I’d like an away day and a few pubs! And we’d shit em.
