Just stick with it. There are several plot twists, moments to keep you guessing. You think you know the plan then someone comes along or something happens that makes it go tits up. But to what extent? And will they get through it? Do they escape?

More characters come in to play in latter seasons as well.

Will do, though without my good lady. Although she has tired of it, she asks me what has happened.

Thought the innocent files were fairly good, just highlights how bad policing was in the USA in the 80/90's. DNA is able to rectify a lot of wrongful convictions and some of the prosecutors were downright evil. Filmed in the same style as other crime documentaries 7/10

Also watched the English Game which is part fact based drama on the history of football, story is padded out with couple of relationships etc... fairly slow but well balanced drama. 6/10

I'm just on to S2 of Money Heist.

I find it's better if you watch a couple at a time. I can see why people might get bored of it. But I like the twists and the Professor masterminding it all from outside.

Does anyone have the slight annoyance of every episode defeating to closed caption subs instead of just normal English?

Oh and I checked out the dubbed version and it's frankly embarrassing. Like watching a live action cartoon. You don't get the specific delivery and intonation of each actor, which is kind of the whole point.

I watched it in dubbed English and got accustom to it.

I’d love for them to remake it with an all British cast.

Finished Manifest season 2 on Sky so now moved onto Don't F*** with Cats on Netflix. Interesting to say the least.

Finished watching Too Hot to Handle. Some fitties in there.

I've watched that Don't f*** with cats, it's very good. At one time would be a 1 hour documentary on bbc4 that hardly anyone would have watched. This Netflix isn't bad at all. I've took a months free trial because of the Lockdown, I'm seriously considering keeping it.

Aye, Don't F**k  with Cats is certainly interesting!

May be a bit dry for some, but did anyone watch Mind Hunter? (Dramatized series about the the formation of the BAU, don`t think Criminal Minds...)

It's very good but it ends season 2 with a lot more to explore and it has now been shelved for the foreseeable future.

The last episode of Better Call Saul S5 yesterday was excellent. Series 5 has been the best by far IMO.

It's still not in the same leagues as Breaking Bad though in my book...

Ah so they've released all the episodes now then? Time to binge them soon I reckon!

Yeah it's all up to date now - all 5 series on there.

I think they've also filmed series 6 which is the last one, but not sure when it'll be released yet..

Not on Netflix, but would recommend The Big Lez Show for some extremely low budget classic Australian comedy (I promise the production value increases drastically after the first season). Honestly, I think it's the piece of media out there that will give you the biggest insight into Australian culture. Made by Australians, for Australians. You can find it on Youtube, the first season is only half an hour so you should be able to tell if you like it or not after that. The following seasons are each progressively longer, and with more of a plot and structure to them each time.

This should be compulsory viewing

Money Heist is unreal, top 3 shows of all time easy.

Baffled that people find it stressful reading subtitles lol Not that hard is it?

I don't get it either. I always watch a film with subtitles on. You capture so much more of what's going on. Not sure if its just me but I think I process more of what's going on through reading as well as watching.

After Life Season 2 - thoughts?

Watched it last night. Enjoyed it to a point, and it certainly has some good parts about it but still a bit lacking in some areas for me.

Would have liked some more fleshing out of some of the other characters - I think Sandy in particular could have been a much better character.

I'm no prude but the excessive and unnessary use of the C word grated a bit too - it's fine in the right context but it seemed a bit extreme in most of the examples where it was used

7/10

Taking the best part of 4 weeks to get through Prison Break. Coming up towards the end of S4. S1 and S2 was an utter masterclass, but can't help but feel at the end of S2 there was a natural end to the story.

I struggle to be honest, I think I must be quite slow at reading. So then I miss bits going on.
