No political discussion in this topic. That is complaining about a country, a politician, a party and/or its voters, etc

But my wife and kids can't play golf :(

Sounds ideal to me mate, you go and play golf while the Mrs looks after the kids while doing your dinner.

Surely people who can't work from home have still been going in anyway? That's been my situation for weeks.

In what way. They have pretty much until now been in step with the rest of the Uk. And I think they have similar levels to the rest of the Uk.

they just don’t get the media treatment as Boris et al

Hasn't missed a briefing, hasn't been bound to changes of slogan, has appeared very unwavering.

Maybe you're right on the 'media treatment' but then you reap what you sow, I don't recollect Sturgeon hiding in a fridge to avoid questioning so perhaps the agenda has been set by the actions previous.

So....I can drive up to Leicester to see my parents and meet them in a park but sit 2 meters apart?

The emphasis has forever been conceded to the employer on that.

There was supposed to be a number of documents about working but the unions threw them out as they were so unclear.

sounded like me in my french oral exam just saying the same thing but with different adjectives over and over cos that's all i could remember.

😄

My French oral exam consisted of me booking a table at the restaurant for every different night of the week as it's the only sentence I could remember.

Nope, not from what he has said.

Nope, my works dried up as a result as most sites have closed down.

But I thought he said we were all O.K. to drive anywhere for exercise? Why can't I drive to the same park as my folks?

Oh no I understand that part. It just made me laugh that they’ve set 5 separate definitive ranks and then have put the current situation in the middle of 3 to 4. Just so vague.

I thought the whole thing was vague, but that was pretty clear. 5 is the worst case. 4 is where we've been since lockdown. Three is where we are heading, but not all the test to fully be at 3 are passed yet, but some have.

Because you can only sit in your local park with people from your household

So you can drive to the park and sit on the grass 2m away from a stranger but not a family member ?

Come on be sensible.

I have zero idea what else anyone seriously expected?

I agree haha. Did the people saying "STAY THE F**K AT HOME" all the time suddenly think the virus would have disappeared.

We're gonna be like this for as long as it takes herd immunity to kick in.

They can caddy and keep score. Everyone’s a winner.

Pretty much a load of waffle for 15 mins.

But the chavs will be happy, they can go back to drinking on their beloved park benches again.

Go back? They've not stopped surely lol

Why not? If they're sitting 2m away, ensuring social distancing (and staying alert because @Izzy is sensible), what exactly are they doing wrong?

I can't buy paint from the merchants because they're all closed. I'd only be doing exterior work anyway, I can't see how I'd be allowed in people's houses anyway.

I’d like to confirm that I’m not infact either Boris Johnson are anyone else that’s drawn up these regulations. That might come as a shock pal but I know, I’m not the PM.

He said it's ok to drive and "unlimited exercise" and you can "sit in a park". So, from my interpretation, yes but still with distancing.

Why didn't he just say A or B.
