Yet another statement that is sensible were it based on fact and not on assumption. 

Can certainly see better choices he could have made in hindsight, but I also would have been in a similar dilemma had both myself and my wife been ill.

I’ve just looked on a map and he really didn’t have to drive to Barnard castle to check he was able to drive to London .....

Think so it’s all kind of blended it to one. Think he said in order to see if he could drive 4 hours he was gonna drive for 30 mins to see what happened. Seems an odd logic it’s like saying my knee really hurts but I’m going to walk 2 miles to see if I could walk 10.
