Yes, that’s for certain.

So to be clear no Soyuncu.  3 games left, and Bennett has played in the last 3.  After 5 appearances we have to sign him for £5m.

So play him against Sheff U fine, but in effect a £5,000,000 costed appearance against Spurs away, yes?

Not sure what the terms and conditions are.

Not worth playing him, another player we’ll be lumbered with on a contract that isn’t good enough. Morgan can come in against Sheffield Utd, they are one of the lowest scorers in the league and are the type of opposition he should be able to handle, basically a championship side that have a way of playing that’s working at the moment.

I thought it was a strange signing at the time.

If he's not good enough for Wolves, then he shouldn't be good enough for us.

Sorry, we need to be aiming higher than cast offs from fellow Premier League sides who we're supposed to be in direct competition with.

The way people are still underestimating SU is amazing.

I was trying to point out that they are a gritty side that Morgan has a lot of experience being up against in the Championship. If he’s not going to come in when we have no other options what’s the point in his new contract, we need to look at what we’re doing with regards to contracts and in this case Bennett can not be signed.

Would rather Wes in the run in to be honest, we know he'd at least die for the badge.

Yep, if you're not going to bring in the Captain when the club is at it's lowest point (mentally) in decades then when are you?

No quicker than Wes, no better on the ball than Wes, no better than Wes in the air, not as invested in the club as Wes.

No reason for him to be playing over Morgan from what Ive seen, assuming Wes's legs havent completely gone since the season was suspended.

I'm certainly not in the know, but if its correct we have to sign (no doubt with the players terms already agreed) then in effect the appearance after the next one costs us £5,000,000.

Surely this would be crazy for our club to spend this sort of money on a player we really only wanted as last resort cover for a couple of games in the first place?

No disrespect but Ryan Bennett in not a player we want for our future.  He looks good for the Championship, not Premier League.

Great. We leave him out completely against Sheff Utd, our next game against Spurs we're without Vardy, Ian Nacho and Perez because Agent Bennett goes on the rampage in training

Where were you in 2008?

That was a shit side that probably deserved to go down if we're talking about ability.

This is a very talented side but they've managed to throw away all their hard work.

We'd had 4 managers in one season. We were a mess and a laughing stock. I know a lot of people hate Holloway for being the manager who took us into the 3rd division for the first time ever, but I've never really bought into that because we were almost impossible to save by the time he came in. Megson did far more damage in his short tenure. The whole of that season was one long struggle that shouldn't have been. No, we didn't have any really classy players, but we were more that capable of 21st in the Championship.
