Phube Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 If we played in red we’d have had two penalties in five days!

Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Their two soft goals apart and missing the 2 sitters, the second half were by far the best 45 minutes for a long while. The draw was the least we deserved. But it keeps that gap to Chelsea. Will take that.
StriderHiryu Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Good game to watch. Would have taken the draw at one down, but we should have won that really... Barnes and Evans had gilt edged opportunities to win it! Poor to give away two goals from set pieces too. But overall I think that keeps us most likely to get to the Champions League and probably enough to get third, which would be a superb season.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Draw ok in the end shame we couldn’t grab a winner though
SheppyFox Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Our form should see an upturn now I’m allowed to post again, the LCFC players that hide on here struggle when they don’t have me to entertain them.

It’s no different to soyuncu vs Liverpool! Can’t be doing with VAR it’s absolutely ruined football!!!! seems it's only been introduced to favour the bigger sides.
WigstonWanderer Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Good match, probably a fair result over both halves, but did we miss some on the plate chances in the second!
lcfc sheff Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Same story as the last time we played them - should’ve won! besides the miss Harvey is really adapting well, Chilwell had a good game aswell I thought

Milo Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 After first 20 minutes I’d have happily taken a draw. A bit to moan about but quite a lot to be happy with.
MelbourneFox88 Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Really promising return to many expectations there. Great intensity from everyone, Evans and Perez locked down their areas well. Maddison and Tielemans industrious and always looking forward. Gutted that Harvey couldn't quite put his effort away but a draw is a fair outcome given the way in which both sides went to it with a will.
sheffield_fox Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Glad to see the 2 youngsters who've taken the most flak silencing their doubters. I said I'd take a draw before the game and it's good that I'm not even that happy with a point in the end.... Could have won it.

Zear0 Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Weird feelings about today. Pleased to at least not lost ground on Chelsea which is a positive, but today was a textbook example of our weaknesses. Kasper really is poor at commanding his box but is really not helped by the defence. Bloody love Barnes but not sure we need to say his finishing needs improving. Chilwell looked really hesitant but after his goal when he had some confidence he looked so much better (aside from being very soft with Rudiger for the 2nd). Hopefully this helps his confidence which is clearly absolutely shot. Good to not go into the break on a defeat, need to grind this season out now.
Dr The Singh Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Very good second half, I hope we take that half going forward. 2 set piece goals was poor. Overall I felt we should have won that, we had such good chances in the second half, but we couldn't finish them

Whats the point Agree! Happy with the point as thought it was a decent game! But how is that not a penalty? Refs/var have done us out of 2 pens now!
sishades Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Var did not check the "handball" at the end. He clearly moved his hand towards the ball. F**k VAR!

You are taught as a kid to put your arms behind your back when defending a cross. They’d be outrage if that was given against us. You’re joking the hand moves towards the ball, that’s a penalty every day of the week.
trabuch Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 I'm happy with the result - sort of. But it's disappointing to conceded shoddy goals and miss easy chances.
Tanya Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Should have won it but I'll take a draw. More than anything I'm so proud of the lads for coming back into the game and eventually becoming the better side after a truly diabolical first 20 minutes. Takes a lot of composure and guts, especially since they haven't always shown poise in tough conditions. Nacho looked so good when he came on. What an asset to have. Going to rewatch it tomorrow but on first blush I thought Hamza acquitted himself quite well. Still we are a better side with Wilf in it. May not have conceded those goals either. Harvey should have won it for us but at least he is scoring goals now. Another goal scoring winger and we really are a top, top side. Happy days.
Nod.E Posted 1 February 2020 Posted 1 February 2020 Chilwell is crap in the air, but it's not his fault that he's been asked to mark Rudiger. It directly led to both goals. Absolute madness.
