Leicester 2-2 Chelsea Post Match

Recommended Posts

Really promising return to many expectations there. Great intensity from everyone, Evans and Perez locked down their areas well. Maddison and Tielemans industrious and always looking forward. Gutted that Harvey couldn't quite put his effort away but a draw is a fair outcome given the way in which both sides went to it with a will.

Weird feelings about today.  Pleased to at least not lost ground on Chelsea which is a positive, but today was a textbook example of our weaknesses.  Kasper really is poor at commanding his box but is really not helped by the defence.  Bloody love Barnes but not sure we need to say his finishing needs improving.

Chilwell looked really hesitant but after his goal when he had some confidence he looked so much better (aside from being very soft with Rudiger for the 2nd).  Hopefully this helps his confidence which is clearly absolutely shot.  Good to not go into the break on a defeat, need to grind this season out now.

How the **** is that not a penalty at the end? The thing that pisses me off is VAR haven’t even looked at it.

Whats the point

Agree! Happy with the point as thought it was a decent game! But how is that not a penalty? Refs/var have done us out of 2 pens now!

That is never a penalty in a million years! You are taught as a kid to put your arms behind your back when defending a cross.

They’d be outrage if that was given against us.

You’re joking the hand moves towards the ball, that’s a penalty every day of the week.

Should have won it but I'll take a draw. More than anything I'm so proud of the lads for coming back into the game and eventually becoming the better side after a truly diabolical first 20 minutes. Takes a lot of composure and guts, especially since they haven't always shown poise in tough conditions.

Nacho looked so good when he came on. What an asset to have.

Going to rewatch it tomorrow but on first blush I thought Hamza acquitted himself quite well. Still we are a better side with Wilf in it. May not have conceded those goals either.

Harvey should have won it for us but at least he is scoring goals now. Another goal scoring winger and we really are a top, top side.

Happy days.
