This article suggests he was the casualty of a revamp/ restructure

Maybe he was sacked for other performance related issues but unsure if the club would ever publicly come out and say that.

Long time coming

Hope it doesn't cause friction within the club personally. On the one hand disappointing to see a loyal, 2-decade servant to the club leave, especially when there's so many players that have been here for a long time themselves. On the the other, with the new training ground almost ready to go it's a good time to bring in some new blood to hopefully help us step up a gear.

Got in a few of the players heads. Made a few comments(snide) about team selections and it wasn't the only manager(s) he's done it too either. Club didnt exactly want to get rid.

Why dudnt they just pull him.in and Bullock him?

Why has my mind gone immediately to this clip?

If it's correct that he's been doing it for several managers, then chances are it's not something he'd change with a word or two

Famously the trouble maker under Ranieri

Being a physio though could this be him interfering in squad selections where unfit players are involved? Or him just saying that Albrighton is past it and shouldn't get a game?

I suspect the former...

I guess it's got to the point that his 'luck' ran out and came across a manager that wouldn't take his shit/input any more because it was detrimental perhaps. Who knows, it's all speculation unless you're ITK or have any inkling about what may or may not have happened!

He helped me overcome some indigestion once

I am finding all this hard to swallow. Both about Rennie and his friend Paul Gaviscon... not to mention Danny Zantac

Says one thing about Brendan. Takes no shit which I like. Wonder if they told him to “break a leg” on his way out.
