Hales Posted 27 June 2020 Posted 27 June 2020 Full strength all the way. They can do it! Hopefully they watched that match and come out with the fight Norwich did. I can take a loss just about if they fight to the end. I'm confident though - come on boys!

Which one of our center backs would you drop for him? Also we are 6 points clear of United with a better defensive record and still in the cup. We've been laughing bat him all season but it's quite possible his move will be justified in a few week's time. Would love Vards to burn past him last day of the season to secure our CL spot mind.
Ric Flair Posted 27 June 2020 Posted 27 June 2020 We need to be full strength as our fringe players on the whole aren't anywhere near good enough. If he even dares play Maddison on the wing again I'll start watching eSports. 1 3

Even if we do blow it (I'm firmly of the believe we won't) I really don't think that finishing 4th and getting dicked on by man city in front of 300 people at Wembley should justify anything for record man United signing. And if it does he's just another player who's part of the problem there.
Popular Post weller54 Posted 27 June 2020 Popular Post Posted 27 June 2020 I think Mendy did enough last time out to keep his place.. I'd like to see a midfield trio of Ndidi, Mendy and Choudhury 😎. 1 5

Legend_in_blue Posted 27 June 2020 Posted 27 June 2020 It'll be the worst capitulation ever and that is what people are entitled to moan about. We were talking of being 13 pts clear of United after 2 games and that's now just 3 pts clear of Wolves. If this trend continues, it's an embarrassing run of form however you decide to dress it up. 2

My stance. If we collapse and end up finishing outside of the top four, it will be a failure. You can’t spend pretty much a whole season in the top four and then bottle it at the end. We may never get an opportunity like this again. The form has been dire, and there’s been little sign of it improving. The lads still can make a fist of the season, but they’ve got to pull their ****ing fingers out, otherwise tomorrow will be a blood bath. 6

To win the fa Cup we'll have to beat Chelsea, and probably Manchester City in the final.. plus whoever in the semi final!. Can you honestly see that happening? We're also a couple of games away of blowing our chances of a top 4 finish! Negative perhaps, but let's be honest our form since the turn of the year has been dire and there's no hiding away from the stats! 1
st albans fox Posted 27 June 2020 Posted 27 June 2020 (edited) Chelsea haven’t lost away from home this season by more than the odd goal. (Opener at OT aside). Even if we manage to come out on top tomorrow it would likely be a v tight game ....... Edited 28 June 2020 by st albans fox

What a miserable lot we are. No wonder we are struggling when the only vibe that the players are getting from our so called fans is negativity. How can we call ourselves supporters with this attitude. look the word up in the dictionary, it does not say anything about being a bunch of negative miserable cvnts 3 1

FoxFossil Posted 27 June 2020 Posted 27 June 2020 Are Slimani and Silva eligible for FA cup games now?? (Just thought I'd give a few Foxstalkers a sleepless night.)

It was the only home match out of six in about three months I went to due to kick-off times and illness and couldn't believe how bad it was. 1
hejammy Posted 27 June 2020 Posted 27 June 2020 I have a good feeling about this one? Chelsea will still be feeling the "Liverpool are champions because of us" mentality and perhaps lose focus on this slightly. Also I can't see them having a deep block like the last couple we've had so will play into our strengths really.

Nevertheless, the fact is that we've been largely awful for a very long stretch of football. Vardy looks completely isolated and unable to generate anything himself. Maybe making a bunch of changes for Chelsea isn't hurting our chances, but helping them. When what you're doing isn't working try doing something else. Tbf the last midfield was a shit experiment with shit results. Anything different should improve us. 1
trabuch Posted 28 June 2020 Posted 28 June 2020 This year's FA cup has been a bit shit (if I was a neutral). Would have loved Narch to win today. It's up to Us, Newcastle and Sheff Utd or it's going to be very dull indeed.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 28 June 2020 Posted 28 June 2020 Squeaky bum time, we need to look like we can actually win a game, if nothing else. I'm hoping we get 60 minutes out of Youri, then Denis. If Denis was 100% fit I think he would start, but they seem to be being careful with him.

The fans follow the team with an interest in the results, in accordance to your definition, but the supporters support the team and get behind them no matter what. We seem to have a lot more "fans" than "supporters" lately, despite this shaping up to be our best league finish in living memory (bar 15/16, obviously)
Chrysalis Posted 28 June 2020 Posted 28 June 2020 Anything thats not a formation we have played this season. 1
RumbleFox Posted 28 June 2020 Posted 28 June 2020 I’d play a midfield four of Mendy, Ndidi, Hamza and Wes. X
RobHawk Posted 28 June 2020 Posted 28 June 2020 I'd give vards and madders a rest, let kelechi lead the line. Get the Belgian boys in the middle together along with ndidi and get Barnes and gray running at them out wide. I don't like resting players per se but I think that team could do the business. Something needs to change.
