trabuch Posted 12 May 2021 Posted 12 May 2021 I hope Aguero's penalty won't haunt us. I don't think it will.

That’s two seasons in a row now and is amazing progress. Obviously I hope that the outcome is different this time and we get the result we need in the last game or, even better, beat Chelsea so it doesn’t matter. This time it's just the bottling Spuds last game, completely different to last season against Manure who were playing for that CL place! 1

If last year you'd told me we would be in an FA cup final and fighting for CL on the last day I would have been overjoyed. But if we lose the FA Cup and don't make the CL I'll be destroyed. Such is football. 6
turlo Posted 12 May 2021 Posted 12 May 2021 Remember what happened last time Arsenal unexpectantly beat Chelsea....

Aus Fox Posted 12 May 2021 Posted 12 May 2021 Just an interesting one on the Arsenal goal, if they don’t score - should they have had a free kick on the goal line? A deliberate back pass, so the goalkeeper handles it very rarely see it given. Also the six second rule for goalkeepers is that still a thing? Keepers appear to hold it for 20 - 30 seconds at times and never see them penalised. 2

A free kick would be take back to the 6 yard line. I think

It’s now something vague like ‘a reasonable amount of time’ - or, consistent with not wasting time. 1
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 12 May 2021 Posted 12 May 2021 Feel much more confident about Saturday after our result at OT and Chelsea losing tonight. 1

Thanks classic FA, take the rule from something quantifiable and easy to manage to something completely ambiguous!
The People's Hero Posted 12 May 2021 Posted 12 May 2021 I know its pointless saying this, but beating Soton and Newcastle and we're there and chasing down second spot.
David Hankey Posted 12 May 2021 Posted 12 May 2021 I would just like to take this opportunity to thank the 'Gooners' for one of their better results of a mediocre season for them. 1
