Have Chelsea rested players for Saturday? Risky choice if they have

Shows they're taking it very seriously if they're resting Kante let's be honest.

If you can frustrate them they look like they crumble. Just a shame we'll definitely give them the shittest goal possible as a gift

It is risky (and flattering)- wait until Sinclair hears about it!

Oh dear, had you said similar Peaky? I rarely read previous pages in threads so if you did, you’ll have to take my word it’s pure coincidence.

Well, obviously you don’t HAVE to take my word, but I’d hope you would?!?

Of course, all meant in good humour.

For once it was pretty blatant.  I didn't see if it was called on the pitch, or only by VAR?

Only var ......that was the reason var was brought in ....not the inch offsides ....

Not a good result if we wanted a nice gentlemanly 0-0 next week. Would be far better for Chelsea to win.

Or could be a dent to their confidence

Chelsea won't exactly play for a draw against us if they win tonight lol

We want them to drop points and go for a win against them on Tuesday to aim for 3rd.

Pulisic is the one that worries me for Saturday

Agreed but he’s a horrible little runt

That offside overturned goal is exhibits A, B & C on why VAR needs to exist.  Can you imagine if that gets given?

Got no problem with VAR doing that. That should take seconds to check, no stupid lines. It's the other crap that ruins VAR

I'm afraid of Werner. That pace is frightening. He reminds me of a young vardy !

But that entirely depends on the outcome of tomorrow’s game! And even if Liverpool lose, it’s in no way certain that Chelsea or us will happily play out a draw. What if Saturday turns out to be a nasty or dramatic affair and the loser of the final wants revenge at all costs? In the context of tonight’s game, Chelsea dropping points is by far the best result for us. That means that we can secure CL by beating them next week.

If a player slaps the ground 3x after going down and doesn't get subbed off it should be an auto yellow card because it's a dead giveaway they are acting.

Of course they'll play a stronger team and it'll be a hell of a task but the chance to seal top 4 next week on our own terms would be a massive incentive.
