TJB-fox Posted 12 May 2021 Share Posted 12 May 2021 (edited) I honestly couldn’t give a **** if West Ham finish top four but I Hope Chelsea get beat. They’re still likely to finish ahead of us but any permutation of us finishing top four is better than none. Come on the Arsenal Edited 12 May 2021 by TJB-fox

Koke Posted 12 May 2021 Share Posted 12 May 2021 (edited) Would be nice if we could finish on 70 points. That'll mean we've finished on 80+, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30 & 20 points in the Premier League . Our next aim is 90+. Edited 12 May 2021 by Koke

Facecloth Posted 12 May 2021 Share Posted 12 May 2021 I know Arsenal like to sign Chelsea’s cast offs, but it looks like they may have signed Jorginho a few months early.

On many levels, that would be a nice story, but my overall feeling is that I don’t want West Ham in there. I’m greedy, I want 100% of the success for Leicester. The likes of West Ham, Everton and ourselves are at a similar level, so if West Ham get in there, it’s just another team who will be looking at similar targets to us. And if we’re in the CL, it would be a major pull towards us. I think us being the only “underdog” in there strengthens our chances in the long run to crash the traditional big six on a regular basis. Some other poster wrote something like this a few months back and it just made sense to me Just bring all the success to Leicester please. Sod the rest.

Wymsey Posted 12 May 2021 Share Posted 12 May 2021 (edited) Hope the BBC/BT/Sky etc don't get too one-sided in their conversations over the other club playing. Sorry, wrong thread; thought it was the FA Cup one. Edited 12 May 2021 by Wymsey

st albans fox Posted 12 May 2021 Share Posted 12 May 2021 Chelsea reminding me of Man City on one of their offish days .....can’t create a clean chance despite looking really good approaching the opposition box ...... you’d expect arsenal to tire now and those spaces to open up

He is just a moderately competent manager who has take over a very good squad (from Frank Lampard) and has done OK. We are definitely on for the cup. Yes . He has the same squad that Lampard assembled but couldn’t get firing and I believe his impressive record is a combination of new manager bounce and fear ( that the players will be sidelined by the new manager unless they hit the ground running). he is about to sign a 3 year contract so hopefully that will mark the start of a downward spiral starting at the weekend
