Finnegan Posted 19 May 2021 Posted 19 May 2021 See this is exactly what I was moaning about yesterday. Burnley are absolutely pump, they've got rubbish players and they'll probably lose this. But they've worried Liverpool more in ten minutes than we did almost all night against Chelsea. Just by actually getting forward and getting at them. Pressing up the pitch, committing numbers. They actually look up for it. And what did it cost them? Not exactly like they were super exposed to the break. 3

I'm conflicted, because I agree with all of this...But Rodgers approaching these games this way has given us probably our best set of results against the big 6 over a season? 1

SuperMike Posted 19 May 2021 Posted 19 May 2021 Burnley not rolling over here, but there's an inevitability about the result.....

You can keep up a press on the front foot all game, even Leeds die at the end of games.

The Bear Posted 19 May 2021 Posted 19 May 2021 I can understand Carragher getting Liverpool games now and again but why is he on them EVERY game?
Koke Posted 19 May 2021 Posted 19 May 2021 Don't do this to yourselves. You're just torturing yourselves.

AjcW Posted 19 May 2021 Posted 19 May 2021 Is it just me or does Chris Kavanagh look like he could be a Tory cabinet minister in charge of rural affairs or some shit

Not like last night mate Tbf. Man City away was excellent, it was lure then in, soak it up, then break dangerously and hurt them. Last night we looked for all the world like we were playing for a draw. Even the team selection, playing Madders and Perez behind Vardy. 1
st albans fox Posted 19 May 2021 Posted 19 May 2021 I bet that some scouse fans have managed to get in ! we’ll hear when they score
Tielemans63 Posted 19 May 2021 Posted 19 May 2021 Anyone else feel like they're watching some weird real-time documentary of Martin Tyler's descent into senility? 4
