Premier League 2020/21 Thread

Recommended Posts

Can we turn our 'like' to win into a MUST win tomorrow? What a golden opportunity to move up the table! We are starting to hit our stride although will be a tough test against Everton who will fancy their chances also. Just gotta keep Richarlison, Calvert and that Cigarson guy quiet. Vardy to score the winner!

He had 2 really good seasons 2017-19). But he has gone completely off the boil.

For a period he mastered getting the tap in at the back post or across the six yard boss and got himself loads of goals but put him in a team that doesn't create as much as he'd struggle massively. Maybe slightly harsh on him, but his record in big games and when he's needed most is shit too isn't it?

Liverpool fans seem to act as if they work on a Burnley sized budget?

Spurs who spent a billion on a new stadium let's not forget.

Good of Raj to just tag two blokes with the same name... but not actually the real people lol

Must think they're paying Gareth Bale in hay!

Liverpool are the perennial victims and the entire league has conspired against them for thirty years.

Spurs are even worse. Danny Blanchflower once played for them don't you know.

Out of the 'big six' Man U, Arsenal, and Man City carry the most credibility but for different reasons. Chelsea win trophies but haven't suffered enough.

Laughable cry baby antics from Pep in front of the fourth official, absolutely pathetic.

Well said, though I’d go further and reprimand him with a touchline ban

Imagine how embarrassed we’d feel if our manager acted like that.

Time wasting is a joke in football, so Pep probably has a right to complain about it but it's the manner he does it, it's embarrassing and not a good example. He isn't alone in that, seems to be in the job description to be at the bigger clubs. Many things to complain about with Rodgers but I like that he's respectful, probably goes against him though.

Man City look so mediocre this year. Full backs have no quality on the ball. Midfield is average at best(apart from De Bruyne of course), no idea how Rodri cost them so much. Gabriel Jesus does nothing week in week out, how low down the premier league would you have to get to find a team he'd start week after week for? Villa? Leeds?

Pep isn't a fraud but he is way too stubborn at times and his transfer history is very hit and miss.

Don't want to hate on chilwell, particularly, but this is something you will recognise...

I bet 27 were kicked into the defenders shins when crossing it, 1 he ran the ball out of play and 2 were dangerous balls across his own box.
