Soucek for the Hammers again, what a quality signing he’s been.

£15M (not counting his loan) for easily one of the best deep midfielders in the League.  The rare piece of great transfer business from West Ham.

West Ham are flying. Moyes...

Would like to know a Sunderland fan's opinion on Moyes. Was he just destined to fail at Sunderland due to how the club was setup or was he as much to blame as anyone? Done well at West Ham, particularly this season.

As much to blame as anyone. Allardyce had just kept us up after making some decent signings (Kone, Kirchoff and Khazri), and we had an excellent second half to the season. Moyes gave in after 2 league games, came out and said we were certainly in a relegation battle. Gave contracts to his mates Lescott and Pienaar who were both finished. Turned down signing Yann M’Vila who was excellent on loan the previous season, spunked £13M on Didier N’Dong which didn’t work out. Froze out Khazri and persisted with Januzaj who’s heart wasn’t in it. He’s genuinely hated by Sunderland supporters, should’ve walked away after a couple of months. I could go on all night about how bad he was up here.  Dour negative arsehole.

Let's get this right. Rodri was only in an offside position had Manchester City been on the attack and he received the ball from one of his own players. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN.

Rodri was running back and Mings after touching the ball was unable to control it, Rodri nipped in quite rightly and the rest is history. You can't blame Rodri or Man City for Mings's clumsiness.

It really is that simple and why folk, not just on these boards, but across football can't understand the situation I find quite mystifying.

You do realise they’ve changed the guidance because the laws that technically played him onside, were meant for something else. They’ve closed the loop hole, it’s now offside.

The one thing I remember about it more than anything was him trying to get the old band together but the issue is, the band weren't very good.

Mad how much Allardyce getting the England job affected Sunderland. No doubt in my mind he would have built on what he did if he had stayed. Things would have turned out very differently.

Tbf to West Ham and Moyes, since he’s returned he’s clearly implemented his own style on them, very much like he did at Everton.

Pellegrini’s problem was overloading the squad with luxury players, since Moyes returned he’s already shipped out Felipe Anderson and Haller.

While Soucek, Bowen, Coufal and Benrahma have all been shrewd signings.

If they win this isn't it 6 wins in a row for WHU? Unbelievable stuff really.

They’ve spent a bundle, they should easily be competing with us and Everton at the top end of the table.
