But he was never the player people were saying he was in his first season. He’s lived up to the hype for about 2 months in 19/20 and that’s it. Another one we gave a huge new contract too on limited evidence.

He frustrates me. I've never raved over him like my posting history suggests, but 1 good game every 5 isn't good enough.

 

Needs to actually prove he is something otherwise it's no wonder he doesn't get picked for England. His performance last season (goals and assists contribution combined) wasn't good enough either for a player that's supposed to be our main attacking threat.

Has 2 goals and 2 assists since 14th December 2019 (Norwich at home). Those stats aren't good enough and he should rightly be called out for it.

Good player but have always questioned if he is England quality as you rarely see him decide games. He decorates rather than dominates games and if he wants to be international quality he needs to grab games like that by the scruff of the neck and make things happen.
