Not every side can try and play posession based football. However uneasy on the eye it is their style has worked remarkably well for a club of their size so I wouldn't knock it. Brighton have changed their style successfully. Sean Dyche is an enemy of footbsll.

Babylon Posted 20 September 2020 Posted 20 September 2020 That was below the line of the shirt FFS. 2
Onions Posted 20 September 2020 Posted 20 September 2020 Playing well at the moment, just need to get an early 2nd and we’ll beat them 4-1 Despite the goal (Why have we left Woods vs Justin anyway) James Justin’s been really good. Barnes can beat Bardsley all game and just needs to keep attacking him. 1
FoxesWalk Posted 20 September 2020 Posted 20 September 2020 Not sure why Wood’s goal stands tbh, lower than the armpit line or whatever the new wording is. Would definitely be disallowed last season.
Fox in the North Posted 20 September 2020 Posted 20 September 2020 Think Burnley are so anti football it’s almost stereotypical. Fair finish by Wood though. I think we’re unfortunate as we’ve not been that bad and put Burnley under pressure. Just need to be a bit quicker when in the right spots and bloody wish we had someone who could dominate headers for all the corners we have!

Dames Posted 20 September 2020 Posted 20 September 2020 Justin is a good player but he’s clearly not a left back. Much better on the right side of the pitch.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 September 2020 Posted 20 September 2020 Handball to me silly sleeve rule or not.

Popular Post RonnieTodger Posted 20 September 2020 Popular Post Posted 20 September 2020 Am I going mad? I hate seeing goals ruled out softly by VAR but surely that’s a shove from Wood. Don’t mind physicality but he’s literally used both arms. 5 1
Vacamion Posted 20 September 2020 Posted 20 September 2020 I thought Justin worked hard and came back well. 1

HoChiMinhFOX Posted 20 September 2020 Posted 20 September 2020 (edited) Talking about its on his sleeve, replay made it deffo look like it was on his skin... Stupid call Edited 20 September 2020 by HoChiMinhFOX 1
Manini Posted 20 September 2020 Posted 20 September 2020 I think Keown is playing a game with himself to see how much shit he can get away with chatting. He’s completely ignored everything good we’ve done and made it sound like we can’t get out of our own half. 1

CloudFox Posted 20 September 2020 Posted 20 September 2020 Praet, Barnes and Justin linking up really nicely on the left. Castagne looking great on the right too. Perez looks useful linking play in the middle, but not much of a threat on the right. Personally think Wood's goal was a handball, but whatever. All square and think we'll turn the screw second half.

They’ll sit very deep and hope to hit us ok the counter, or that Wood gets in the end of a cross (and he almost always scores against us). We need to be on it and get an early goal Good call. Not quite Nostradamus class, we all knew what could happen.

Football would be rubbish with every team playing side to side posession football, waht make games interesting is contrasting styles. Leave out the football snobbery. Brighton almost went down last season also and Burnley finished 10th so go figure. Edited 20 September 2020 by Muzzy_Larsson 3

He's decent and considering he's the best option we have, plus his youth and lack of experience, he's doing very well. Standard FT though. Get on a lads back cos he might not be world class. 1
