True, was just curious when fit, how he fits in. Will be ahead of both if he finds the form pre-injury

And what a great problem to have.

Three very good players for one position.

It's a win win situation.

Thomas up and coming, but not ready to play every week, Bertrand very good and experienced, but probably not got the legs to play every week.

Bertrand can pass on his experience to Thomas and help him grow as a player, just as he can with Justin.

If it works out as well as it did with Fuchs and Chilwell, everyone's happy.

Pity Fuchs didn’t teach Chilwell how to cross the ball

Has the potential to be one of the best left backs in the world.

Superb again today.

Still learning his trade, of course, but really excited to see how this kid progresses.

Great that he's from Syston, in the Charnwood district of Leicestershire.

Do like him, and he did well for the most part, but have to be honest and say I would have felt more comfortable with Bertrand there and we could have then had a better threat from set pieces.

Of course that goes without saying, but he's just turned 20, not been out on loan in the lower leagues and doesn't look out of place at all.

He'd probably walk in to the first 11 of the majority of teams in this league already.

This Part of the thread, seems to be forgetting Castagna..

  • i thought Thomas had a Good game, plus he wont have to Play every week against this level of pace ...

We've got 5 outstanding full backs.

Brilliant because they can pretty much all play as a wing back if we switch to a 3-5-2 and I can see Ricardo in the Perez role with Timmy as RB when he's fit again.
