Not been a great half for entertainment, think we've been decent on the ball without creating too much, only had one serious counter attack to face. Castagne being back helps, Maddison has got involved a lot and set-pieces look much better.

Everyone knows the rules and a foul in the box is a penalty but it really is daft giving an 80%+ free shot at goal for a foul in a situation like that.

 

Still good for us and hopefully we can remain sold 2nd half

Pawson didn’t give that! What a joke of a ref! If that was a foot outside the box he wouldn’t have gave it and they got themselves in a 2-2 counter with our quickest CB laid out flat on the floor.

You see, this is whats been missing, not even including what the result is at the end of the day.  45 minutes of getting stuck in, first to the ball, being a bit niggly and occasionally heavy handed in the tackle.  If we draw or lose playing like this, then its a hold your hands up time and no complaints.  This is what we've been lacking (this first 45 anyway)
