Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 29 August 2021 Posted 29 August 2021 As frustrating as the injury is what an absolute pleasure to see Ricardo back to his best. That setup was classic Ricky P yesterday, lovely interception, great pace and a wonderful pick out. Two assists in just over 2 games for him. Hopefully this is just a slight setback.
Popular Post Jobyfox Posted 29 August 2021 Popular Post Posted 29 August 2021 The only way it will be 2-3 weeks will be if Brendan comes out and says: "he's chipped his toe nail". 6

It was underestimate how much we missed him from an attacking sense when he was out, his numbers from RB are fantastic, 81 apps, 5 goals and 13 assists. 18 goal contributions, so 1 every 4.5 games Edited 29 August 2021 by coolhandfox 2
Clever Fox Posted 29 August 2021 Posted 29 August 2021 He really is a Managers Dream, Someone who digs him out of the shit. That's 2 from 3 games now. Lets hope it's only precautionary and he'll be back soon. He's such a joy to watch playing.

It's the pick out that gets me excited. He is the absolute master at the cutback and his decision making in and around the penalty area is as good as you'll see. Hope it's just a couple of weeks or less, then not long until we can consistently see him back to his best because he's a genuinely world class player. 7
Ric Flair Posted 29 August 2021 Posted 29 August 2021 Class player, just got to iron out the niggles and he's back to his supreme best. 2
st albans fox Posted 29 August 2021 Posted 29 August 2021 he must be so pissed off to miss int duty having fought his way back ….. 1

That's something they've clearly being working on. Before it was either played high to the far post or hard across the face of Goal. Now it's a cut back to the Penalty spot. Which gives more opportunites for others to get into the box also and score.
Cheese Me Posted 30 August 2021 Posted 30 August 2021 Anything more on his injury? Hoping it’s just a tweak but would be nice to have some confirmation

Popular Post honeybradger Posted 30 August 2021 Popular Post Posted 30 August 2021 Arguably our best player when fully fit, personally think he was robbed of being considered one of the best players in the country by that injury, had it not happened he would have most likely been the driving force behind us getting 3rd that season, hopefully he will get that status over the coming years because he deserves it. 7

UHDrive Posted 30 August 2021 Posted 30 August 2021 Was worried about him after his long term injury as he was all over the place, but he's back to his best is rodeo ricky 👒
WigstonWanderer Posted 30 August 2021 Posted 30 August 2021 Please let this be true We really need some good news about now.
LCFCbwoi Posted 31 August 2021 Posted 31 August 2021 Have to remind myself he was our best player for quite some time before his Knee injury, in a team that had Vardy, Ndidi, Maddison and Tielemans, and since pre season he’s fully reminded us of that. 2

I'm not sure you know, I think he used the double negative deliberately and is relying on us underestimating his proficiency in English to lull us in a false sense of security. Then when Brendan later tells us that the injury is more serious than anticipated, he will point to Ricky's twitter and say he was upfront about it, you all interpreted it wrong. I'm sure of it, it makes perfect sense now.
