Some of the reactions to this draw lol

Apart from Chelsea being jammy again it is pretty much what you would expect with only 7 possible teams left to face.

We'll get to the final and moan that we have to play Man City lol

only thing that surprised me with this draw was that Man Utd were not drawn at home?  Draws rigged I tell ye.

did you see the emirates sponsorship page glorifying in chelseas history in the comp

We all know they want chelsea united or chelseqa city in the final as their sells to the hoardes of fans in the middle east

this comp is beyond predictable, if I am wrong and by some miracle leicester or everton win it, then good but its so obvious how this ends :(

It ends with Man City winning it and us putting yet another limp performance against Man Utd. We can beat these if we have some balls and some guile. I fear another lettuce in the sun effort again though.

Well not really “what you’d expect” is it. We had just as much chance of drawing Sheff United or Man City as we did Man Utd.

It’s just very typical that yet again we’ve got to the quarter final and we get a less favourable draw.

Remember a couple of things from the last time we played this lot in the Cup, 45 years ago.

Bob Lee scoring a good goal, unfairly disallowed, and my mate turning to me and saying don't worry, it'll be given by VAR, and me saying don't be daft, it ain't been invented yet...

The other thing (more reliably) was the United fans down the Pop side singing the 'Que sera, sera' song ('we're going to Wem-ber-lee') for what I think was the first time ever. I'd certainly never heard it before.

Also recall Gerry Daly - later to become a real star for us - netting for them.

About time we took revenge.

Yeah I expected to get one of the teams left tbh.

For sure. The 3 'Big 6' balls were warmed up in advance.  The FA want a Big 6 Final as do all the media and sponsors.    They cannot accept having a small team ruining their show-piece.

Let's face it, it was a cold night. Warming your balls up in advance just seems like a sensible precaution.

In order of difficulty

Man City

Chelsea

Man Utd

Everton

Southampton

Sheffield United

Bournemouth

So yeah we could have gotten several easier ties. If we had drawn Man City we might as well had forfeited the game as we would limp out in a uninspiring 2-0 defeat.

Man Utd and Chelsea are good but they will you a chance. Man City are efficiently ruthless.

Did we expect to get to Wembley without playing anyone decent? Come on now.

Next we'll be moaning when we draw someone decent in the last 8 of the EL.

We do seem to have this weird knack in the FA Cup, it's weird, pretty simple draws all the way to the last 8 and then about as bad a draw as we can get once we get there. Whilst that's probably about par for what you expect of a side who finishes where we do we don't seem to have much luck, it's not there weren't very beatable sides left in it. Chelsea won't beat anybody good to get there.

Man United are absolutely beatable if we get at them and not show too much respect.

In footballing terms we are one of the big 6.

Yea I know that but in the 'media's big 6'...all I'm saying is we aren't winning the cup without beating the best.. We'll win this one

I am a realist sadly.

You're probably right. It's just sooooo boring, though. At least one of Arsenal, Chelsea or Man City have been in all but one of the last 12 cup finals. The exception was Man U (yawn) v Palace. Would really like to see some different teams make it this time, even if it's not us.
