No he said Pepe and Adama were bang average....which highlights how hard it is to sign a second striker at the right price who gets regular goals....fact is it’s not easy..and Perez certainly isn’t gonna ge ten goals a season.....that said we could have signed Adama when he went to Wolves, but he will likely go to Spain  next....

Sorry, I saw reference to Bertrand Traore.

Adama Traore has abysmal end product, Perez for all his faults bar this season has always got near double figures per season in the PL. He hasn't settled in our system though and we need better.

strong mentality needed going into this game is key. We are at home they are on our turf now so we boss them! Put em to the sword right away and bombard their goal. Hope Vardy and Barnes are clinical on the day as that will be in their interest and the teams. We don't want to concede an early goal from a mistake and end up chasing the game deep I tot he 2nd half throwing everything at them. Play efficiently be deadly in front of goal and defend ruthlessly and we can be home free by the 2nd half. Rest half the team with subs. Ideally speaking of course lets see how it actually plays out. Foxes don't quit and we're fearless.

Looking at his stats this ref seems to love a red card. 8 in 14 in the Eredevisie including 3 in 3 matches for AZ. Only seems to off refereed champions league matches and one Scotland match apart from that so he appears to be a top official.

He’s been fourth official more times than he’s reffed a CL tie. The three he’s done have been low profile

only 35. Either he’s a top ref of the way up and will deal with their antics or he’s inexperienced and will fall for them !

Maddison?

"He won't be available for the game. He's in consulation with our doctor and specialists to see where we're at. For tomorrow, he misses out."

Time to give Tavares a go now. Tielemans may be able to play no.10 but we really need to throw someone new in there soon in case he gets injured too.

Schmeichel

Castagne Evans Soyuncu Thomas

Tielemans Ndidi

Ricardo Tavares Barnes

Vardy

Ward, Jakupovic, Amartey, Fuchs, Flynn, Mendy, Choudhury, Leshabela, Albrighton, Under

Edit: somehow forgot Ricardo!

Jeffrey is through on goal, just got the keeper to beat..... and he's skied it out of the ground.

You'd hope so mate, he's the creative young player we have on our books but I fear we'll try and plug the gap by playing Mendy or Choudhury and push Tielemans further forward.

Much more worried without Maddison now, we're essentially relying on HB to provide the goals or getting a penalty from somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if we only have to score once to get through but with Vards in a quiet spell and now Maddison out we're running out of goal scoring avenues. Our Wilf is due one actually thinking about it and so are Cags and Evans.

At some point Vardy will find form, only a matter of time.

With no Maddison I'd like us to go with this.

                     Kasper

Ricardo Evans Soyuncu Castagne

                      Ndidi

       Choudhury    Tielemans

Under                               Barnes

                     Vardy

I wouldn't have played Under, but we will need that little bit of creativity now. Choudhury in the middle to add some energy and cover the full backs getting forward. Youri to obviously push a little higher up.

Surprisingly happy about choudhury playing there given his recent performances

He's been excellent since end of transfer window. Think the only way these beat us is physically, so he helps with that too.

Huge game for Under in my opinion - if he doesn't start here, he never will. Brendon could look at 3 at the back though and play Barnes and Vardy up top.

If we're winning three nil in the last 5 minute it will be worth a Hamza red card to smash one one of the diving pricks.

I haven't seen anything from his time here yet that says Under would work well as a number 10 so I highly doubt this. Most likely scenario will be Tielemans more advanced

Thought of Under or Choudhury trying to receive the ball on the half turn is giving me anxiety
