This is the type of season you want points on the board and games that are supposed to be straightforward,  aren't.

You want points on the board in any season. The pressure is all on them. They have to be perfect.

Too many of our fans see our rivals as unstoppable monsters Liverpool still look vulnerable and unconvincing, There is no way there isn't at least one draw in the following 4 games....

Liverpool v west brom

Burnley v Liverpool (with some fans)

Liverpool v place

Villa v Chelsea

I don't know, I wasn't suggesting it was, it was a statement, not a question.

If we get 69pts and don't make Top 4 that's really tough on us.

To beat Spurs on the final day and for it to be meaningless would make it even harder to bear.

Still in our hands.

We're 3rd with our points on the board.

We can lose our next league game and we still go into the last day with a reasonable chance.

The same cannot be said about Chelsea & Liverpool, one bad result and they're probably toast.

This idea that we bottled it even last season annoys me. If Liverpool don't make top 4 surely we can put the same accusation at them as they were top at Christmas?

The positive bias towards the big six in the media, annoys me.

We absolutely, 100% bottled it last year. That's not the media saying that, that's basically all of us as fans. We shit the bed.

This year still remains to be seen, I thought we went about the United game pretty smartly. If we show the same application and positivity against Chelsea and Tottenham but simply just aren't good enough on the day then fair enough.

We definitely choked against Newcastle but as for dropping most other points this year, meh, every team is doing it.

If we end up out of the top 4, 2 seasons in a row, when we will have been in the top 4 for the whole of them 2 seasons, except at the end of the final game in each season, that will be very tough to take! Of course its where you finish at the end of the season that counts but would be madness to happen 2 seasons in a row.

69 points guarantees us CL football.

I’d say the injuries, not having having a strong  enough squad and games crammed in at the end were more to do with it than bottling  it .

I'm not saying that we didn't bottle it last season, but the media have openly criticised us for it and use those negative words such as "bottling" and did so this time last year.

All we hear about Liverpool is how unfortunate they've been with injuries as an excuse for their poor form and nothing about them bottling it, when we had similar issues last season where we lost key players to inury.

We also have had lots of injuries this season so it is absolute rubbish when they go on about Liverpool. We have had to be without two of our most in form players in Justin and Barnes
