This. I couldn’t believe he was playing within 7-10days. My partner was still putting my socks on for me and pulling me out of bed at 7 days...

He may well be capable of proving everyone wrong, having a fantastic season and making himself undroppable, but I’d be amazed if the club were aiming to go through next season with Vardy as first choice striker.

...at the start of the season I believe he had surpassed the previous year's pre-season training programs!!!

  His confidence is not quite there, and his finishing has him second guessing himself.

Sky Sports are nowhere near when it comes to reporting for our club, Rob Dorsett pretty much seems to just copy what everyone else is saying but “tones it down” slightly

 

He could be at Seagrave having a medical and they would still say it is some distance away because they wouldn’t have a clue it is even happening

I wouldn't pay too much attention to that piece of "journalism". It also states that Rodgers signed Eduoard from Toulouse in 2017.

No one is suggesting he is “finished” but he sure as hell won’t be able to play as many consecutive games next season. He will be 34 and a bit when the seasons starts he will at some point hit a brick wall. Vardy will be used for the big games and from the bench next season I’d imagine.

Yeah - it’ll be 60 mins and PL starts I would think for the first half of the season until the pretenders to the throne warrant displacing him for PL starts from Europa performances. I doubt it’ll be a quick transition.
