You'd have thought with Osimhen not going he might have had a decent opportunity to get some caps and goals for his country.

Tuchel doesn’t do egos. He’s an exceptional coach, when you’re looking to maintain and tweak with brilliance. Similar to Rodgers in many respects throughout his coaching career. Both need to prove they’re more than a 3 - 4 year coach at best.

It is totally bizarre, he’s 28 and just moved for c. £100m, nobody is dropping that sort of money on him again, especially when Mbappe and Haland are open to transfers, seemingly.

 

Incongruent transfer policy is what holds clubs back, it was obvious Lukaku was never going to be that well suited to pressing really high up.

Newcastle have had another game postponed now

Both the Newcastle and Norwich instances though are resulting of an increase in injuries (sustained in games on 27th/28th) rather than a huge increase in COVID cases. 
 

Doesn’t seem to any clubs bringing in players from the youth teams etc to make squads up.

Seems to be mixed messages on this one.

Some say he didn’t want to go to just be a sub but Ranieri suggests he did?

But also said to be happy to help the club .

 

We’ll see how he reacts and what his attitude is like I guess .

Lukaku telling the world he can't play under Tuchel's system, where's in going to go now? Looks like he wants to go back to Inter. Chelsea paid nearly 117m euro's, his agent and him must of got a nice bit of a cut from that. I think he really didn't want to leave Inter and Itay but Chelsea offered around 117m euro's and Inter really couldn't believe it, no other club were dumb enough to pay that much or interested in him. Don't think he 100% wanted to go back to Chelsea, and the stupid thing is they got rid of Tammy Abraham who wanted play games but was given a chance under Tuchel, this guy under Lampard was scoring and I think he scored a hatrick in Lampard's final game
