This won't be easy, but christ this is surely going to be us going as full strength as possible in a cup game vs a team who have decided to ring the changes. Doesn't always work out positively but we have been gifted another chance here. Go and take all 3 points and turn the screw on Liverpool and West Ham.

No one said they'll go easy on us when the whistle blows but needs must and OGS is forced to rest his first XI because of the fixture congestion and we expect to face a team of squad players and their best academy players.

It just makes it so much easier to go full strength Thu-Sun-Thu and a free hit against us with squad and academy players. 

 

Trying to cover all bases by playing a mix and match first Xi in four games in eight days just causes more problems.

That sparked a reaction from Moyes, who questioned the integrity of the Premier League (Manchester Evening News).

But now Solskjaer has spoken out to reassure Moyes and West Ham fans that he will be going all out to win both games, even if he does make some changes against Leicester.

Because Man United are under pressure to keep their fans happy amid ongoing unrest at the club.

“We want to listen, the players want to play the game,” Solskjaer told the press ahead of two games in as many days (Sky Sports).

‘We’re going to do everything we can’
“We’re playing Liverpool – of course we want to beat Liverpool and we want to beat Leicester.

“So we’re going to do everything we can for our fans to celebrate what we’re doing on the pitch.”

Solskjaer stopped short of confirming he would field his strongest possible team, though. He added that he would assess his squad today before deciding whether to hand debuts to a number of young players in his squad such as Amad Diallo and Shola Shoretire (ManUtd.com).

West Ham fans can only sit and wait in hope.

Couldn't face doing it after the Newcastle game but when we win and it's another team's bitchfest then it's good entertainment.
