It can work both ways.

Hes been no way near his best for a while but that doesnt equate to downing tools. Even in the last 4-5 games when hes been poor he could and should of had an extra 5/6 assists if our strikers werent playing with 2 left feet.

Much better today. Was able to get forward and help Mavididi which helped our attacks. In the right place for the goal too. Less defensive duty which suits his game and the team. Was in the game more in the 2nd half.

Great again. Takes a lot of criticism but is the only midfielder that drives us forwards. Winks gives the ball away as much as/more than Dewsbury-Hall yet seems to escape the same criticism that Dewsbury-Hall gets.

 

11 goals and 13 assists now I think, superb.

Well today KDH had a pass completion of 87%, Winks 90% with the former playing 39 passes and the latter 71. So Winks played it more and was more accurate with it. He does of course play deeper than KDH, which is a factor. But the evidence on today at least is against the claim.

KDH's best league game for some time. When he is on it we are flying. More of the same please!

He’s at his best when the game opens up and becomes a bit more of a basketball match. He’s not a technician but he’s got an engine and he can stretch teams with his running when it gets a bit chaotic.

You’d be fair in comparing his season to Madders last season….in the main, been influential but has gone missing too many times for my liking.

 

We will likely miss his engine in certain games next season as it’s almost a certainty that he’s off this summer surely?

The whole KDH v Winks passing stats is such a null argument anyway isn’t it. 

 

KDH will naturally have to play more risky passes due to his role and Winks sole job is to recycle possession and tire the opposition. 
 

with that said, Winks is clearly the better passer of the two. KDH biggest asset has never been or ever will be his technical ability. He’s progressive on the ball and outstanding off of it. They’re chalk and cheese but both arguably our best two players

Was helped by Doyle's return to the side. Seemed to have fewer defensive duties this week, and was able to focus on attacking. Looked like the shackles had been broken a little.
