I warmed to Grealish once he was caught in that hotel room with that big lass lol

I want him to score big on Saturday, as well.

The crying 8 year old boy watching his black and white tv in 1996 has finally put his first football tears to bed. Have it!!!

1996 I watched Tunisia at you're old house with steven and Geoff

Say what you want about sterling but he knows how to score when it's there clearly for him even on his worst days. Not my favorite player but definitely very good and clearly a constant threat

I think we’ve all seen Raheem miss his fair share of pretty simple chances for Man City …….. I wouldn’t be singling him out as a great finisher …….

Zi germans are out long live gareth and his nose!

I don't like the way we play but if we win the tourney i'll take it I really do think we're over doing it with 2 holding mid's but a part from some silly mistakes we look solid any team will not enjoy playing against us.

You’ll have a job we didn’t play them until 98

Kind of, but it's also about how yo play when you win. Convincing performances will generate confidence to go and do the same again. I know you have to approach different teams differently but as supporters we need to feel confident. In the pub earlier before we scored, we're all screaming for more positivity. It took such a long time in the game before we showed any real threat and then, only after JG came on

... hopefully the lad has done enough to make the bench again on Saturday ...

The closest player I have seen to gazza in a long time…. Honestly I doubt any other international team would sit this guy on the bench lol still hard to knock southgate but being more positive earlier might make things just that little less frustrating

Go and watch rugby instead. Jesus. We absolutely shut Germany down. People were saying they’re gonna do this they’re gonna do that. The only chances they had were from our mistakes. We are the only team yet to concede a goal. Lighten up and get behind the lads.

I already do thanks.

They did, that’s because at this moment they’re poor.

My issue is this, every game is approached in the same way, the the performances end up being slow and predictable and despite Germany leaving gaps the size of the autobahn for us to exploit we didn’t often, and when we did it was toothless.

If Gareth took the shackles off and let this team attack more freely, we would take teams apart. Why do we need to be overly cautious? Our defence is fine, and can probably handle most attacks rather comfortably, the midfield is as solid as any, and we have so many frightening forwards with pace to burn.

Next game I was to see more pace, more adventure, more aggression. Come up against a Spain, or a Belgium for example we will have to be more aggressive to confer their keep ball styles.

Its not so much a criticism, more of a desire to see us do more, because we can, because my concern is, we carry on being like this, draw someone like Spain deep into the tournament and find ourselves 2-0 down and then having to change the way we play to get back into the game.

It’s a short tournament, we’re a young side just go for it, show more bollocks, the quality is there and will take care of itself.

It was the Swiss in 96’ drew 1-1 Shearer made his mark

Even then I was at my grandparents for that game and I know Ty was at mine for the 98 Tunisia game lol

Said it earlier, he's alive in the box, basically what Kane should be doing. It's the rest of it I'm not overly impressed with.
