Stayed up for the swimming, then the BMX was compelling, then the Golf was dramatically congested, so I just pulled an all nighter lol 

 

I’ve seen some cracking majors, but I’ve never felt so nervous watching a final round than last night/this morning, probably because I was desperate for Xander to win lol 

 

Some players have been unsure about Golf in the Olympics, but all you need to do is look at Rory and Justin Thomas’s comments, they’ve certainly warmed to it and enjoyed themselves.

 

A very nerve-racking compelling watch, when Golf is close like that, it’s one of the best Sports in the World.

I can't see that NZ weight lifter winning a medal. Her clean and jerk is okay but her snatch isn't convincing at all.

Wow, previous world records seem to get smashed every single time at the Olympics in the indoor Cycling!

 

Anybody know the reason? Faster bikes? Quicker track?

How on earth has Alex Scott got the job presenting the highlights show for the BBC ? 

She’s awful, no knowledge of most of the sports and totally out of her depth.

The new face of the BBC isn’t she with Jeans .

 

Think she is doing Football Focus too ?

 

Amazing World record in the 400m hurdles - and the guy who came 2nd was too far behind !

Absolutely no chill from the Germans. Brutal. 

 

Is there anything particularly different about this velodrome? I assume all conditions are near identical on modern tracks, some of these new records aren't even close.

It has to be the advances in the bike or something as its nuts and happens every Olympics in this event.

 

Id wager in Paris another 3 or 4 seconds will be taken off these times.

 

This will be hurting team GB, masters of the Sprints and Pursuits for so long and likely to leave with not a single Gold
