Who was the player in crutches when Schmeichel called all the staff over the celebrate?

Suengchittawon probably.

Back to the football. I am now absolutely of the opinion that Wilf is our most valuable and  irreplaceable player. He is simply on a different level.

"As for the Leicester ‘fans’, they just proved how pathetic they are. It’s like they had been let out without their carers for the day. Booing players that left years ago?? How old are you cünts???

At least we will get 40 points."

Ah blue moon is a lovely place to be.

Haha really?  Every time you meet someone with a different opinion they call you a racist?  You must be saying a lot of racially motivated stuff to get that reaction so often.

YOU, obviously read and understood what I have said. Never mind, just accept the fact that there are differing opinions and we'll all get along just fine.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned here, but anyone else think it was a terrible penalty by Nacho?

Not down the middle, not to the side and a perfect height for a keeper to save - I think he got away with that one!

Yes, everyone is entitled to an opionion. But if you choose to air that opionion in public then you have to accept when people publicly call it out.

So, you are saying folk who have a different opinion shouldn't air them. Why not call is a disagreement? Move on!!

I genuinely believe he's the best in the world at what he does. Kante is world class too but Chelsea seem to want him doing things out of his comfort zone

Eh? Where has he said you shouldn't air them?

He's clearly said that if you do air it, expect to be challenged on it as is someone's right too.

Not sure what logic you came to to determine he said it shouldn't be aired lol

Whatever you want to call it and I thought it was a tremendous strike it won Leicester City the Shield.

They're right though. There is no defending our moronic 'fans'. I'm ashamed to be associated (however tenuously) with such dickheads. Every club has them of course, including Man City, but our lot were in the spotlight yesterday.

On the pitch, we did ourselves credit. How in control did we look? Man it was impressive. I was proud to support them yesterday. We've such a good looking squad now (yes, problems at CB to address) Amartey played his part well. Last few games he's looked a different player; much more confident and assured. As a group we look together. The raft of subs didn't weaken us. Bertrand has been such a clever signing, I'm sure he's one of the wise heads making it all gel.

Get another CB in and I reckon we're good enough to go. Bring it on!

I'm really pleased with how our fans and players celebrated the win, too many times I watch big clubs with the community shield and they really don't care. They don't particularly care about winning the FA or league Cup and the shield is like a free happy meal toy. I'm so proud of our players and how much winning things for this club means to them.

For me I'm glad we we finally won it the proper way at Wembley and its another trophy I've seen our club win in my lifetime. History is better when you've lived it!

Off the ball there is nobody near his level, not even present-day Kante. Added to this, each and every year his on the ball ability is getting better and better.

The keeper dived the right way and couldnt save it because it was too high. It was pushing the line between a poor and decent pen to be fair. The height and the pace made it good enough that the keeper couldnt get enough on it to save the shot. I'll give it 7/10 :D

Biggest irony to that, I was in a Manchester pub after we lost there in May 2017 and Mahrez slipped on that penalty. We were telling some Man City that Mahrez was a genius and an unreal player….he didn’t accept it and said he didn’t never get in a Pep Man City team

Great great day out.

Most importantly was that we missed all the rain when we were outside!!

Oh and winning the shield is nice too!!!!

Nowhere near the atmosphere of the FA Cup but that meant far too much and you could tell yesterday.

No checks anywhere for the covid double jabs though?

Pity alot of the talk is now about the Wrighty incident.

Ticked every domestic box now properly, over to the European  cups now!!!

First time on foxes travel, our coach was one of the last to leave the KP due to 2 turning up late. Arrogant bearded chap walked on and said were you waiting for us, well tough.

When they got off at Wembley they said laughingly we'll be first back. At 7.50pm all were on the bus apart from these two. The two bus stewards said they have to give them til 8.30 to turn up and quite a few were really pissed at this, but they didnt show so we left without them.

On the way back I was quite happy that their arrogance and disrespect for fellow foxes was rewarded with a problem to get home.

However this morning putting all their arrogance to one side, they are pair of dickheads but at the end of the day they are foxes I do hope they got back ok.

I assume Walker ignores the fact his own fans booed Grealish for all the soft and nothing fouls he gets awarded when at Villa?

Players really seem to have lost that ability to take some stick from fans in stadiums.

We and Wilf in particular was excellent at getting the ball back, but remember it was a City C team and we seemed to be able just to read their passages of play with ease.

I like the look of Soumare as well.

Great to be back in the ground watching live football, teams coming out the tunnel I was slightly emotional having missed it for so long.

good solid performance from us, deserved penalty and pleased nacho just ran up and hit it, not the silly run up he did at palace last season.

seeing your team win a trophy at Wembley is tough to beat.

thanks top, Brendan and the players
