Percy says we're after a loan deal, Dorsett says the price is too high.

Who to believe?

Is Dorsett meaning the loan fee they are asking for is too high ?

They spent like £16m on Lookman, and will probably want that and more back. Really confusing transfer thus, even if its just a loan. Unless he's just cover for Barnes which is needed.

Still feel lord Rudkin will pull a left footed RW out of no where on top of this.

Dorsett doesn't mention a loan fee though.

we will need to shift Benkovic, Praet and Hamza for an additional signing on top of Lookman to be registered in the PL, and even then we’d have to leave 1 player out of the Europa league squad

But you said "should have kept Dimi", which would have been impossible without him signing another contract - which we actually offered him.

I once heard a player say his team needs to give 110% percent on the pitch, which would have been impossible because the maximum amount of effort anyone can give is 100%.

Obviously the club has a track record of doing great business - this feels like an exception. This looks like last minute panic.

If we're loaning Praet out for just £1m and paying north of £3m for Lookman - that's dreadful.

Where did you get those figures from or are you just guessing?

Schmeichel/Ward/Jakupovic

Ricardo/Castagne

Evans/Vestergaard

Soyuncu/Amartey

Justin/Bertrand/Thomas

Ndidi/Mendy

Tielemans/Soumare

Perez/Albrighton

Maddison/Dewsbury-Hall

Barnes/Lookman

Vardy/Daka/Iheanacho

It'll do. Still one of that lot has to miss out on the Europa League, mind.

You’d imagine it’ll be fofana, probs won’t be able to play until after the new year and we can register different players by then.

Disappointing that we haven’t secured a marquee RW signing again this year, but if Lookman comes in then it’s an improvement of the options we have at those positions. If Barnes starts having a good year then realistically we only need someone on the other side that’s going to get 10+ G/A involvements, and Lookman is capable of that.

He’s not going to set the world alight but he’s still relatively young, BR is a manager that gets the best out of these types of players, and he’ll do better than he did in that Fulham team.

I’m as disappointed as everyone that we haven’t gone out and got a Berardi/Madueke type player, but it’s clear the club haven’t got the money for it now, even if that’s come from signing Soumare/others without addressing the clear problem spot. Let’s back the lad and hope he proves some of us wrong. If it’s only a loan then it’s really not the end of the world if it doesn’t go fantastically.

I'm sure that sounded funny in your head when you were typing it out.

Probably from the recent links to Palace and Wolves

We offered him a contract that reflected the fact that we weren’t bothered to see him go.

Really don’t think this one is too difficult to figure out.

Some of these clubs baffle me. They clearly want him out yet are setting a fee probably way above a price that would get him out.

I didn't list Fofana. He's definitely not going to be registered, still one of those that I did list also must be left out

I’m happy with this, thought he was very good whenever I saw him play for Fulham, we don’t have many players that run with the ball like he does.

Looking at the YouTube video he looks comfortable using his left foot so maybe he will be fine cutting in from the right.

Mixed feelings about this.

When Walsh and Rangnick both rate the same player, it’s likely he has some quality. And he has shown in glimpses some of his clear potential. And we know Rodgers likes to work with young, skilful, pacy British players with something to prove and he has a strong record of development.

But if we have been influenced by his performance against us, that is concerning as more often than not, it doesn’t work out - for every Ulloa, you at least have a Perez.
