Fair enough. I’m just frustrated that we lose Gray (who I liked) and now we’re signing Lookman, who is poor at best

Lots of managers tried Gray here and he just didn’t do it for us. I don’t care if he scores 15 goals this season, it was still the right time to move him on. Would rather try Lookman than have kept Gray.

I’m guessing people would rather sign players they’ve never heard of and only watched YouTube videos of - then hype themselves mad

We had the same with Gray when he went to Germany and played 1.5 good games. Then did the square root of fook all for a year.

We offered him a new deal - he wanted to leave …..

Screams of pure desperation signing a right footed LM two days before the end of the window to play on the right. Very underwhelming

When did Brendan say he wanted someone to play on the right? We already have Perez and Albrighton.

We have 3 strikers but only Barnes on the left. Now we have cover there too.

Look man, Lookman might surprise us.

As far as I can see no one has actually posted this... loan with an option to buy. Fingers crossed he does a bit better than Under (though expect limited game time for him behind Barnes).

Why the fvck did we sign Soumare if it meant we didn't have any money to sign a winger? Improving the starting 11 should always come above improving the squad. We've spend what? 60m+? And our starting 11 is no stronger.

I think it’s more that he’s not the right winger we need, as a back up for Barnes I would be more than happy with this if it was alongside a right sided starting option.

People are disappointed because right wing is the position 99% of fans have wanted to have seen improved since Mahrez was sold. We’ve just had one of the best seasons in our club history, finishing 5th, reaching the knockout stages in Europe and winning the FA Cup. But whereas teams above us have strengthened their first teams with proven world class players, we’re scrambling around with little time left to sign an underwhelming player.

We know we don’t have the resources to match the teams above us but you always have hope Top will pull something out.

It just feels like yet another missed opportunity.

Because RM is the weakest position we have on the pitch and has been since Mahrez left. Ayoze Perez is absolute dogshit and Albrighton (whos a decent squad player) is as fast as a snail. Pure panic signing

To be fair if it’s loan with option then it’s an OK deal as there’s little risk involved. Underwhelming yes, but at sensible at the same time.

A 23 year old ex under 21 on circa 55k a week, but it's absolutely mental choudhury is on slightly more than that 🤣

We need wingers so I’m happy with this if we’ve got a RW lined up too.

This guy as cover/rotation on the left is good with me.

Please don’t let this be it tho

Glad it's a loan otherwise I'd honestly rather keep Praet and play him there.

Either way I feel this is quite desperate from us - RW has been a gaping hole for years now and we've still left it to the last few days of the window.

Just the extra £5k a week for Choudhury. Madness that he’s earning nearly double a week than what Muzzy in his prime used to earn each week.
