Hales Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 (edited) Wilson will have a field day with our defence It's also on sky so I have a really awful feeling it's going to be utter humiliation 😢 Edited 9 December 2021 by Hales 1
splinterdream Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 Sky will be on a love in for Newcastle, they will be right up for it, it's going to be an absolute horror show. At this stage if I were brendan I'd have a back 5, I'd set the team up to not concede, forget about going out to win, just defend, DO NOT CONCEDE.
Guest David Oldfields Gate Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 2pm kick off on a Sunday after being dumped out the Europa? Should be a hell of an atmosphere...... Could get toxic if they score first.

dnewty Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 Saint Maximim going up against our defence isn’t worth thinking about.
Grebfromgrebland Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 I think they'll score in the first 5 minutes then we'll get back into the game only to lose it later on. Just a hunch.

fazzyfox Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 I'm seriously considering Amartey at Right Back (if not Isolating / Ill) with Castagne at LB and tell them just to focus on a clean sheet and forget about bombing forward. It's another CB-like presence at set pieces without going back to three CB's. It is that desperate and other than a return of Frankensteins monster with the turning circle of a wardrobe, or an experienced Left Back who leaves his flank AWOL and jogs back like he can't be a***d, and young Campbell there really isn't much else that can be tried? Then there's the planned rotation, illness and being Knackered from tonight. Harvey needs to help his full back a lot more but we need him in to spark something at the other end. Kasper Amartey Evans Soyoncu Castagne Ndidi Tielemans Maddison Dewsbury-Hall (On Right) Vards Harvey (Left) Subs:- A.B.B. (Anyone but Bertrand)
Nalis Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 They are starting to play well. Joelinton actually pretty decent as a midfielder. They are still shit defensively though. I'm going 2-2
adam Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 All hell will break loose if we lose this. Imagine it could be brendans last game if things go badly. Anyway, get Cags and Bertrand out the side please.
Vazman Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 We are going to win Leicester 3, Newcastle 0, oh ok then, Leicester 3 Newcastle 1, but VAR will rule their goal out and we will have our controversial clean sheet come on Leicester!
Pliskin Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 If Brendan isn’t gone by then, it will be a must win. One of the objectives this season has been failed, so a defeat against this shite could be the final nail in the coffin. And you kind of get the feeling it is inevitable. 3-1 Newcastle.
Lako42 Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 If I don't see a massive improvement in effort and attitude from the players I'll be letting the ****ers know. This has been going on for months and months now and it's about time they had a rocket right up their arse. 1 1
Larry_LCFC Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 For a start I hope Brendan wont be leading it. And if he is and we somehow win, it's just papering over the massive cracks. He cannot and will not take this team any further if he stays. 3

Hoopla10 Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 (edited) It'll be like the start of the second half against Napoli. Neither team can defend for s**t. If we lose though, especially if it's by more than one goal MASSIVE questions will have to be asked in the LCFC hierarchy (probably should happen even if we win but they score 2+ goals). I've not once thought/said BR should move on (and still wont) but this can not continue and rooting out a solution that works has to be a priority. Then I would like (probably wont get) some transparency on what they're doing. Edited 9 December 2021 by Hoopla10
sdb Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 Can't remember the last time I chose not to go to a game. In fact, I think this will be the first. Not worth the 6 hours out of my weekend. I'm ashamed to admit it but I simply can't be ****ed. 2
FoxesWalk Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 Genuinely accepted an invite to eat with in laws so I don’t have to watch this. Also get get brownie points for skipping the football to do so. 1
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 9 December 2021 Posted 9 December 2021 (edited) Lots of topless Geordies will be howling with delight at the final whistle lauding Howe as the new Messiah with a 3 nil whooping of the mighty Leicester City. Edited 9 December 2021 by Cadno'r Cymoedd 1
