Just sitting here looking through FT thinking, "Mrs Para is going to be annoyed if I'm still up after midnight on a weekday" even though I'm retired.

My own body-clock is disrupted after years of shift work and staying up late is a bit of a novelty as now I don't have to be in the shower at 4:30am to start a 5:30am shift and I can lie in until whatever time, even whilst being awake. Annoys the hell out of her though.

Almost never before midnight, but...
if we have a game that kicks off between midnight and 1.30am, then ill stay up
If kickoff is between 2am and 3.30 ill try to get to bed at around 11pm and then get up.
Games that kickoff at 3.30am (finishes at 5.30am) ill try to get back to bed for another quick hours sleep
After 4am kick off..ill stay up and go to work early.

Is the game on Friday am on TV do you know?  I don't mind getting up at 1.30 as it is a holiday anyway, but only to actually watch.

It’s on Stan Sport, an extra subscription! Hopefully there Will be a link to a stream without having to pay an extra $20 a month.

Try and go sleep at around half 10 on a weekday as I get up at half 6.

As I'm off this week it doesn't really matter but I'll probably try and sleep at around midnight unless I'm in the middle of something interesting.

I used to get up for work at 5.  At night, my general rule was 'asleep by 11'

I'm now a full time carer to my partner, so no longer have to get up for work.  My missus will probably not get up until about 9 most days.

I still get up at 5

It's my favourite time of the day.  Just me on my own - with no interruptions

Usually in bed between 10-11, but asleep by midnight. Mostly because my other half prefers later so its somewhat of a compromise.

Temporarily living separately for work and on my own terms I've found it drifting earlier by about an hour (bed 9-10, asleep 10-11).

Wake up between 5-6 irrespective of when i go to sleep or when my alarms are set. Including on weekends. My fella likes a lie-in, but that's once-in-a-blue-moon stuff for me. My body-clock just doesn't let that happen.

Historically I go to bed at 10 and wake up at 6. Weekends I’ll get up at 7 but still go bed the same time.

wife is pregnant at the mo so going to bed at like 9 and will listen to a podcast or something until I fall asleep.

The male side of our family are no good at sleep.

I usually go to bed around 1am, any earlier and I'll just lie there awake. I can function on 5-6 hours sleep. Would love more, but just can't do it.

Work nights, probably fall asleep at midnight. Up at 7:30.

Weekends are a free for all. Who cares if people want a lay in?

After years of working loooong days (7am-midnight, 7 days a week) when I was working at sea, I find being able to get into bed by 10 nowadays a bit of a guilty pleasure.

And I’ve not used an alarm in about a decade. I really hate being told what to do, and that includes being told to wake up!
