if he starts to get us playing good football again and we get results, I’m not going to be calling for him to go, but let’s face it, that is highly unlikely, the players have totally lost confidence in him.

The players don't look like they know what he wants, he's ruined Soyuncu, and it seems like he's too stubborn and egotistical to change. He's criticised the club and the fans before looking inward at his own performance. It doesn't look likely that he could win me over.

There is, however, one caveat. This is the longest he's ever been in a job. This is the first time he's been in a position where he won't walk because of the payday and he (possibly) won't be sacked because it would cost the club too much. With certain media personalities questioning him now, there's a real possibility that if he wants a really top job again, he needs to turn things around with us.

If he can adopt a bit of humility and get the players back on side, then, yes, he can win me over. The audition to save his job and his reputation starts with the next game, whenever that may be.

Yes. I think he could but he would have to come out and apologise for criticising our club, our squad and us fans. He would have to mean it and tell us that the club are together and then show that by going on a proper run.

I don’t see any of that happening though.

Never in a trillion years.. I detest the man.

He's said far to many disparaging things over the last few months, added to his sh1t performance as our manager. Even if we were to revert back to the brand and performance levels when he took over, its still a "big weapons grade fvck off No" from me.

Football isn't as mechanical for me as some others seem to think. I want to feel an affinity with managers and players. It isn't just a results business. My largest gripe with Rodgers is that I don't like him. I've never warmed to him or his character (lack there of). He has little to no connection to the fans in terms of rapport. We need passion as fans. Die for the club mentality. Rodgers doesn't and won't ever have that here.

Rodgers has shown himself to be no leader -  he is a divisive and toxic character - he can have no place in our club going forward.

The above is based on his character - there are a load of footballing reasons why he cannot take further also.

He’s had enough time to try, he well past his sell by, as a club and fanbase we’ve been very patient indeed (and arguably still are, incredibly).

In terms of his recent comments and attitude someone asked the question if he apologised would it make any difference - I see the could he win us back over as a similar question.

My answer is no, not particularly.

The damage has been done, bridges have been burnt, my main issues have been withstanding for around 2+ years give it take and that is his turgid style, philosophy and the insistence on negative, nonsense possession based football which he is never changing, it’s gone on for far to long.

However, would a change in his recent comments, attitude and/or an apology give us less billets to fire? Less ammo against him? Sure it would, so whilst it would make little difference, it would be within his best interests and it could be seen he remains interested in the job and committed to doing his best instead of being accused he wants the sack, as I say, bottom line is damage done, bridges burnt.

Things have been progressively getting worse over the last 2 years, we've gradually gotten worse in all elements of our game and our team now looks very poorly coached in terms of organisation, defensive shape, set pieces, fitness and more. You could write a long list of capitulations and thrashings we've received over just last season and the start of this. This isn't a bad run of form, it's a logical progression, and the underlying stats back up that we are exactly where our performances merit, there is no bad luck about our current  position. In an ideal world, it would be great if Rodgers could fix all this, but it's been going on for so long and getting worse, realistically, this isn't something he can fix or it would already have been done. He's just had a whole pre season coaching the squad and they are worse than ever before.

There is an underlying question of whether any manager is capable of managing the same squad of players for an extended period, across the top divisions most of them don't last 3+ years on average. Maybe it's just human nature and the marginal gains needed to win at top level sport means that fresh motivation from a different voice is needed every now and again. The only outliers are the likes of Ferguson and Wenger, and they were in a position where they could ensure their longevity by making large changes to their playing squads instead. Even then, Ferguson was swapping his assistant manager on a fairly regular basis, using McLaren, Kidd, Queroz, Phelan etc.

In short, no.

The veil slipped and we saw his true colours when he flapped his chops over the past few weeks.

Needs to go, just a case of what rather than IF.

Yes, but as long as he has learnt from his tactical mistakes over the past few games and now actually tries to win games by creating a strategy that benefits the players' strengths (he knows he can do this, as he has been successful in the FA Cup for example).

The Brighton result has to be a last resort in terms of low morale and certain players not doing as well as they can be.

He'd have to basically perform an immediate miracle. Aggressive, attacking exciting football and 4/5 wins on the bounce kind of miracle. Plus an apology for being an idiot in interviews.

He'll never win me around I can guarantee you that. He'd have to fundamentally change as a person which is just not going to happen at his age. He's still claiming not to understand the impact of his words over the past few weeks.

There's plenty of mouth breathers that will be swayed by a few results either way, but not me. I'll happily by classified a fool if basing my opinion solely on results makes me one.

There's nothing foolish about having observed how Rodgers has overseen the deterioration in the team over the last 2 years and how his character has been revealed during that period and coming to the conclusion that the sum of those parts means it is inconceivable to believe he is capable of turning it around.

Some sensitive souls on here if you get that upset by the words that come out of a football manager's mouth.

Win football match and playing some decent football is the only criteria I have.

Done with him. If he goes it will be a huge relief, whatever follows. If he doesn't, it won't make me stop backing my beloved Leicester City.

I want the team to succeed. I will be shouting and cheering the players. The ones he's run the confidence of into the dirt.

If we improve and somehow pull ourselves out of this nosedive, you won't catch me singing 'Brendan Rodgers' Blue & White Army' even once. The man's burned his bridges, and arguably he should have walked back when Forest embarrassed us last season.
