Can’t believe people still genuinely want to see Maddison on the right. It’s suicide, especially against Palace where their wingers are their best players.

Switch Justin and Castagne. Justin/Barnes combo doesn't work going forward as they both have simple games and strength is running and that's about it. 

 

Albrighton on the right. Obviously not the answer but it's mad that he's not been used at all. Plays with energy and desire. 

 

Maddison behind Daka. 

 

Tielemans and Dewsbury-Hall isn't ideal either but best we've got.

I'm fascinated by a Faes and Soyuncu defence, you're probably right they need someone alongside them and we're te absolute pits at 3 at the back but I'd love to see them pair playing as box to box centre backs 😂😂😂😂

Yes, it doesn't make sense. Has Maddison ever performed well on the right also? He should always play behind our 2 strikers. Why don't we go back to a Nacho-Vardy combination? It worked so well in the past, Vardy can also free roam on the right and keep their full backs busy with Maddison reaching more the edge of the area while at the same time pushing more up front Tielemans for outside of the box shooting opportunities. 

I can't understand what's happening in Rodgers brain. I'm on the verge questioning that he has a valid manager's diploma.

53 years supporting this Club. It'll  be a difficult watch but I'll have to do it as I always do cos I couldn't support any other Team 

 

However it will be from the Safety of the Living Room as I don't like to Let People See Me Cry in Public

Drag Barnes if he's having one of his off days. It's usually quite apparent pretty quickly if he's at it or not. He's only there to give one of their wingers reason to track back. 

 

Task Albrighton with following Zaha like a gnat. It's times like these you call on players who will put in 100%. Every season we seem to call on Sharky eventually and I think that time is now.

 

Play all our football through Maddison and Tielemans with the idea of quickly releasing Vardy or Barnes. Mendy will do a good job of turning over possession into JM or YT.

 

If we're winning and the momentum is beginning to shift, bring Tielemans, Vardy, Barnes and Albrighton (who will likely be shagged at this point) off and revert to;

Mendy

Praet  KDH  Maddison Justin

Kel

 

It's a bit square peg round hole, but it keeps the energy, gives us somebody to hold the ball up top, and gives us more opportunity to keep hold of the ball while keeping their wingers quiet. Praet and Justin a both good 'technicians' to use Brendan's language, so I'd have faith in our ability to keep the ball better higher up the pitch, or find a pass when the opportunity arises. Kelechi always gives you that chance of a goal out of nowhere as well when the game becomes stretched. 

 

KDH coming off the bench with high energy and a point to prove should work nicely to not give their players a moment's peace.

 

Daka to be brought on if we're chasing the game. 

 

Brendan, if you're reading this, I go self employed as of next week and I am open to the idea of operating as a consultant, on the basis that you drop Danny Ward effective immediately.

Rodgers is hanging Danny Ward out to dry by continuing to select him, bloke needs dropping for his own welfare but Rogers won't do it.

Reading this thread automatically makes me feel like a defeat so going with my head 2-1 but going with my heart 1-3. 

 

I'll happily take the plaudits for my heart if it helps you get rid of Rodgers.
