because palmer might not be realistic.

Id like borges (if he fits the system enzo wants to play), mcatee and Harwood-belis (as we will need a 3 at the back)

Cole Palmer and Carlos Borges the obvious two. The catch with players like Doyle, McAtee etc... is I worry that they won't send them back to the Championship.

Wouldn't be surprised if we bought a couple of them with buy-backs to essentially bypass the loan limit.

I don't get this thread at all! Surely Pep will want to see his youngsters develop and will therefore want them to be anywhere but Leicester!

I'm sure he will have noticed how many bright, skillful players arrive at LCFC and within 3/4 weeks they lose the ability to pass, they can no longer dribble, they are afraid to try anything, they lose commitment and any 'flair' that was there disappears. There is even a name for this phenomena (its been here for a number of years now) - it is called becoming 'Leicesterized'.

Pretty sure we won't be getting ANY loans from Manchester City!

Maybe on loan. The club are broke.

I know they are, they are under an embargo but I meant on loan.

The logic of some people thinking we’ll be raiding Man City for loans, with the links Kompany has how many did they loan last season?

Genuine question as I have no idea but I don’t think it was that many as you’d have heard about it.

Go to the Transfers > Loans Out section.

26 players loaned out. 13 to EFL clubs, 2 (Delap and Mbete) loaned out to different clubs.

1 loan and 2 permanent

Im happy to swallow my pride and accept Leicester could potentially serve as Manchester City's reserve feeder team for a couple of seasons. While it would be ideal for us to regain stability and operate independently, it makes sense to use and abuse our apparent new contacts. We also have some of the best training facilities in europe so benefits them aswell. Good example would be sell barnes for £30 Million and loan Carlos Borges on the wing and invest Barnes money elsewhere on the pitch.

I think it’s probably because Maresca was manager of the U23s for a year and a bit so worked with the players before?

Don’t think Kompany did

Exactly and depending on how close Pep and Maresca are then he would want his friend to succeed so would prefer to give him the best tools to do so. It also makes pep look better that all his assistants go on to succeed on their own 2 feet.
