That's where the skill comes into it. The manager needs to make him feel 10 ft tall and convince him to atay.

The club can do it by offering a nice carrot with a big bonus on promotion back up.

There's always a way in business.

These guys have agents who get around the psychological stuff - they remind the player that he’s missing out on £10m by feeling ten feet tall - generally has the effect of bringing them back to 5 ft 11” !

Could the Man City connection pay a part? Maybe a “Pep” talk would convince him to stay.

if he stays and we build a team around him no reason why we can’t give him the role here he’s always wanted

I do think it'll be an appealing option for him to see out his contract and get offered a bigger deal as a free agent. It's a strange one to leave for a team that will be fighting relegation again.

The club should automatically refuse bids from Forest anyway. I used to detest the way we loaned players to Derby as well.

The thing is the owners are business people, not bitter fans. If he goes, I don't care where he goes, Oadby Town, River Plate, or Forest scum that despite all their crowing after last season will never ever win the premier League like we did.

He's as crucial to the club, akin to when Vardy was in his prime.

I wouldn’t go that far because our whole style of play was based on Vardy but I get what you mean.

For me, one of the main reasons Kel was never able to cement his place in the team wasn’t because of his ability but more because of the wingers he had around him.

If you can have wingers alongside him that make smart runs in behind and that are direct, Kel would have an absolute field day.

Honestly feel him signing for someone like Brentford would make too much sense for both them and him.

Nacho would be a 40 goals man in the Championship. Records would be broken.

Well he’s only got into double figures once in his career, so I really doubt that!

Everton and Burnley are apparently interested in him

Besiktas have supposedly made an offer as well - in typical Turkish fashion they have apparently only offered a loan for him

Wow, he sure is garnering a lot of attention from other clubs...

Would be great in the championship but if we get offered decent money he’ll be gone.

i think I’m general there might be some movement in the market for us this week.

Despite the fact he has always been inconsistent, brilliant moments interspersed with less than mediocrity, he woild be nailed on to score 110 goals in  the Championship where everyone knows other teams defences don't even know how to play football unlike our lads.

Perhaps even 130.

Correct. Where I was getting at is it is going to prove more of a challenge to keep Iheanacho for the Championship because of all that interest.

We need a whole new midfield. Would much prefer we kept hold of Kel and Daka, and not have to worry about finding decent strikers on top of midfielders.

That partnership could be crucial in our campaign. Can see both scoring a load in the Championship.

Kels best bet if he wants a move away back to the Prem would be Palace. They have a reasonably good squad with some real talent in wide positions and they haven't got a striker worth a shit, so his agent should be moving into that territory. Unfortunately I don't think Palace will pay out. Not under Hodgson.

Would've spent 3 years training alongside Kompany at Man City, so the Burnley link could make a lot of sense.

Although given the source I imagine its just 'pluck plausible team name out of a hat'

Galatasary linked too.

It will never happen. Months of negotiations - and they basically expect to loan/lease/rent him for peanuts. If he has to go - we want money - and as much as we can get.
