All I saw tonight was a player who:

 

Looked dynamic

Fought for the ball (and generally won)

Play some really good passes

Kept it simple, when necessary

Should have had an assist after good work (just like in the Southampton game)

 

He looks a far more rounded player than the 'raw' tag suggests.

Really really like this player. He was so unlucky to get that handball call when it hit his head - we'd have had a resulting 100 yard run and goal no doubt!

I think we have all bought into this idea of being raw, but he seems pretty damn composed on the ball and yes he takes his man on and looks explosive, but he also keeps it simple when needed, and generally looks a tidy player. Be interesting to see him over 90mins but a very intriguing player so far, in a good way!

What I find mad about him is the fact that he’s only 19.

 

Definitely some serious potential and if he came through our academy, we’d be raving about him.

New Country, Language, etc and he can turn in explosive performances like that. 

I can't wait to see him score his first goal.

I think he has huge upside and could be a big talent in the game. Provided he keeps himself grounded.

He's already looking pretty good and the potential is absurd. Getting him on loan with a sub 20m buy clause is an absolute masterstroke by Rudkin .

I love his energy and work rate and there's clearly lots of goals/goal contributions still to come.

 

He's a great option off the bench too.

Have to say his cameo on the right looked more effective than left side. Seemed to enjoy cutting in and using his turn of pace. Given Enzo's view on rotation wouldn't be surprised to see him start tomm although McAteer hard to drop on current form.

He looks to have the look in his eye to me. 

 

When he came on Wednesday night you could see him itching to get on and make his mark. 

 

It was also a great cameo against Hull and he would have deserved his goal.

The dinked cross for McAteer against Norwich and the through ball for Iheanacho against Southampton shows that he's not just pure chaos. He's actually got a bit about him.

I think this guy is going to be a superstar. He just oozes something different. 

 

It’s funny because you can almost see where mavididi’s ceiling would be, but with this guy … he could be a mane or he could be a demarai. But I genuinely think, even from these glances that with the right management he will be unreal.

 

He’s strong, quick, skillful determined, seems to make intelligent plays. Not seen much shooting yet but the shot he bent onto the post was a very nice hit so the indications are that he’s one of those that ‘has all the tools’ 

 

If we were in the prem and we’d signed him and loaned him out to the championship, I think we’d all be good incredibly excites for his return. So the fact he can grow with us is great!

...he has the knack of shooting when he runs out of ideas, he very much loves to shoot at goal!!!

You get the feeling by his gait on the pitch that he brings something else to the team, he has a go-to approach to goal, where he comes inside and you can see that he wants to get a shot off, but it leads to him being on the ball too long, with him coming too central. In those instances playing someone in or a little chip ball to the back post is an option but he will choose to take the shot, where it will inevitably be blocked.

  He has scored spectacular long-range goals outside of the UK, but that was down to what looked like poor keepers and he needs to know, that is not going to work here, so he needs to keep those ideas in check.

we’ve not seen that here yet though. Always the chance his manager was encouraging him to shoot on sight. Maybe even because the standard of keeping was so low
