Foxes96 Posted 1 September 2023 Posted 1 September 2023 (edited) Would like Wanya to get a decent loan as well to L1 or something where he can get consistent game time. Think he looks a prospect, and not as needed/ unlikely to see much game time now we’ve got Akgun, Mavididi, Issahaku, Albrighton and McAteer Edited 1 September 2023 by Foxes96 Edit to add same for Nelson, especially if Souttar is likely to stay now
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 1 September 2023 Posted 1 September 2023 We can't shift the shite. I feel like a barrow boy. Roll up roll up!!!! 3 for the price of 2!
Swarles Barkley Posted 1 September 2023 Posted 1 September 2023 Least the disappoint of not getting Mcatee and THB have started early in the day 1

Popular Post Finnegan Posted 1 September 2023 Popular Post Posted 1 September 2023 So the current state of play looks like this then doesn't it: Strikers: Tom Cannon has been to Seagrave, agreed terms, we've settled on a fee with Everton. Now we just wait because presumably he's to replace Daka so Patson needs to go out. Fee for Cannon is only £5m so Daka's wages and amortisation off the books on loan is probably enough to cover that, with Vardy and Kel out of contract in the summer, that's sufficient to see us not overloaded next year with more problems. Midfielders: Forest need to sell Brennan Johnson to be able to afford Sangare, who they've agreed terms with. If Johnson goes (Spurs, 50m) they pull the trigger on that deal, our business is done for the day. If Johnson stays at Forest, they can't afford Sangare so they come back for Ndidi. If we sell Wilf, we need to replace him and will probably do so with a more attack minded midfielder. People are expecting a bid for Chair, this is possible. However, we also have a loan spot to play with so expect the unexpected - it's not like anyone saw Cannon coming. Defenders: Souttar is a proven Championship quality but we won't want to strengthen a rival, his profile won't be big enough to go far abroad and it's a big ask to expect him to do so. His only credible link was to Rangers who could probably only afford him if they secured Champions League football. They didn't. He's probably staying. In the event he doesn't, see above re: loan space in the squad. 6 1
Pliskin Posted 1 September 2023 Posted 1 September 2023 I think it’s going to be an in, out situation today. Daka out Cannon in If Wilf goes then Chair probably comes in if Souttar goes potentially a defender comes in. Ward leaves the Champaign comes in…… 1

Dan Posted 1 September 2023 Posted 1 September 2023 Cannon in and Daka out on loan is my guess. These things often aren't as mad as they're made out for us.
Max Power Posted 1 September 2023 Posted 1 September 2023 With the McAtee disappointment, I find it surprising there hasn’t been much chat about Oscar Bobb going out on loan? Maybe that’s our trump card if we sell a couple late doors.

Blanchflower78 Posted 1 September 2023 Posted 1 September 2023 Incoming you'd think done now with Cannon. May see a couple outgoings but that's it. No last day drama here.
shen Posted 1 September 2023 Posted 1 September 2023 We'll bring in Khouma Babacar on a free from FC Copenhagen. FM13 wonderkid, let's go! 1

coolhandfox Posted 1 September 2023 Posted 1 September 2023 (edited) I don't mind us not having a lot of last-day drama. We did some sensible work early on GK, CB x 2, CM, CAM, LW, and RW x 2 Edited 1 September 2023 by coolhandfox

KFS Posted 1 September 2023 Posted 1 September 2023 So the looming question now if everything is to be believed is the 8 role. KDH and Casadei is a great starting partnership, but if we lose Ndidi we only have McAteer to shoe horn into that position. Would be nice to get a decent option off the bench for that role.
