I am saddened to see what has happened to Ricky P. Before his injuries he oozed class. He is a shadow of what he was. He has been loyal, unlike a lot of the players but if that is him at his best, his best is not good enough. While I am at it what on earth was Bobby playing at? Crazy challenge. We are not going to stay up playing with 10 every week. Lascelles will be made captain if he stays fit.

What a difference it makes to have a defender who actually wants to win a header, rather than just dealing with a ball in the air. 
 

We honestly haven’t had a cb that attacked a ball since maguire. It doesn’t just need to be within a foot of you to go for it lads

It’s just typical of us that we’ve signed 4 players in the window and none of them are fully match fit. Jamal is good but we can’t afford a month or so for him to get up to speed. It may be too late by then.

He’s not the messiah, he’s just miles better than Okoli. That’s not saying much tbh but it’s something. A reason for the smallest, tiniest bit of hope.

Appreciate the fitness aspect but he came on for 25 mins as part of a back 3 to see out the game. Essentially his job was to organise and oversee them as a unit to be solid. shambles
