No risk transfer on their part. Loose change for a player with great potential. If it doesn't come off they get their money back anyway.

Hopefully being pally with Man City this season will be a benefit.

We're going to need 2-3 loans from them minimum, perhaps 6 in total if they want to do half season stints.

Maybe we can get the Heskey brothers for the season. Surely they have a lot of family and friends in the city. Could be the best place for them to develop.

Hopefully we are smarter with the loans compared to getting Mukasa.  Loans for us this coming season need to enhance the team - we can just provide guaranteed appearances for players that Man City want to develop.

It’s not actually a bad fee. He’s worth more yes but we are in a weak selling position and could have easily had our pants pulled down at tribunal by Arsenal.

Interested to see if they end up sending him out on loan.

I'd like to know how much of that £10m is up front, the issue with the Arsenal deal was that we need the cash right now to plug a £70million defecit, not in coming seasons.

If it's £10m PLUS add-ons I give credit where it's due, but the way I'm reading that says that's the max fee and we're getting less to start with. Every million counts and the £5-6m the Gunners were putting down up front wasn't enough.

Good luck to Jeremy regardless, will be interesting to see how his career develops away from our shitshow.

I fully expect Mukasa to go on to have a very good career, first two games he was incredible and than got infected with whatever everyone else was on!

He'll be ok - but i think he simply got found out and his inexperience showed more as he struggled. He's not the first player in the world (for any club) to start strongly and then taper off.

So glad we are having to sell the family silver to fund all the f@@k up of the last 4 years.

Rudkinomics

Even in the premier league we will lose our best. It’s the layer cake son and we’re at the bottom eating shït.

We of course are eating lots of it due to the clowns that have got us here.

I know, but we would have had more chance to hold on to him for a few years.

And yet the utterly useless Rudkin remains.

You're probably right. But that free kick at Fratton Park was one of the most disgraceful things I've ever seen at a football game in person. Head on mars.

What’s Next?

Monga is expected to finalize his move and could feature in pre-season preparations. Fans are buzzing about the signing, with many calling it a “statement” from City in the transfer market.

I'm not buzzing

Very true. We’re run by people that should have seen the door long ago , there is zero accountability here.

But even our biggest players we can’t and shouldn’t just keep a hold of them ie Tielemans goes for nothing. We just need to get better at signing players to replace them. Which is monumental task for the clowns that keep failing to do this.

I just hope he kicks on and creates a great career for himself.

Credit to him for agreeing the Contract that insures we get a fee for him.

He could have left us in the hands of another tribunal fiasco.

Only positive is it looked like we were going to lose him for next to nothing not so long ago, so at least we’ve got a half decent fee.

Rudkin will sell his own granny if he could make a few bob

I think it’s a good deal because he’s not ready to perform for 40+ games just yet.

Even if it’s 7.5m now it puts us in a stronger negotiating position for say Fatawu

I’m struggling to find the evidence he is worth more the 10m, he’s still far to young to know what he’s going to turn out like, certainly last seasons he wasn’t worth that price, but he is still young and it’s the unknown!
