Finally got around to watching Joker and I just wanted to say what a brilliant film it is.  One of those rare cases where all the hype is lived up to and even exceeded.

Uncut Gems...Sandler is sensational, don't know how he didn't get an Oscars nod this year.

 

Tough watch at times though, you really feel battered and bruised after spending so much time with that character. Did not see the ending coming either.

 

Great film full of believable characters.

Mate, that ending REALLY pissed me off!!!!

 

Thoroughly enjoyed it up to that point.

 

Sandler was the nuts and his girlfriends ass was sensational :wub:

Finally got to.see Richard Jewell..Excellent film, had a lot of flack due to the sex for stories part but overall a good account of what happened to the poor bloke.

 

New Mark Ruffalo film Dark.Waters looks interesting.

Just watched Shimmer Lake.

 

Crime drama thriller about a small town Sheriff tracking down bank robbers after a heist gone wrong.

 

Sounds run of the mill.

 

But... it's told in reverse. Which helps pay off with the ending and some great gags, while still being a thriller.

 

Well worth your time.
