Thought the last series of People Just Do Nothing was good but not as good as previous, could have ended better as well.

 

We now need a Chabuddy G spin off.

Anyone watched/watching The Last Kingdom on Netflix??? i would highly recommend it, first 2 series on the BBC but picked up by Netflix for series and was very very good. Just heard they have commissioned season 4 which great news IMO.

Just started watching The Orville after having it recommended to me.  I've been avoiding it given the 'comedy' tag and Seth Macfarlane being involved, but it's literally what Star Trek Discovery should have been: Anybody disappointed with the way that show ditched the episodic approach for a continuous storyline needs to get in on this, it's borderline copyright infringement on Next Gen right down to the soundtrack and intro sequence.

Just watched the first season of The Protector on netflix. A Turkish series dubbed in english. Different but the one chick leyla (played by Ayça Ayşin Turan) is hot.

Started watching Southland again. Liked it first time round but forgot how good it was. American has some crap cop shows but this is fantastic imo

Started watching Escape from Dannemora, new prison break drama on Sky Atlantic. Only two episodes in but enjoying it so far - a much more serious take on the genre than the enjoyable codswallop that was Prison Break. Three great actors in the lead roles too.

Agreed, think they finished at the right time before it became tired, although a film is being talked about supposedly.

Miles behind I know but finally have got around to watching Game of Thrones, and it’s fantastic tv, currently on season 6 (series 6 for the dinosaurs amongst us) and I’ve finished certain episodes and have sat astounded at what I’ve just watched!

It was awful wasn't it, Jimmy Carr is about 50 and he's making toilet humour jokes to a woman around the same age on national TV. Cringeworthy and not in the good way. Made him look like a pervert. Seemed to think the show was about him as well.
