I don't see why people are turning their noses up at him, he's a bloody good player, I'd be delighted to have him as part of our squad, you say we can do better but who? Bid for ****ing Götze?

FOXES REMAIN KEEN ON SCOTLAND STAR

Leicester City could be busy in this month's transfer window as the Premier League strugglers look to move off the bottom of the table.

According to our sources, the Foxes remain confident of signing mercurial Wigan Athletic attacking midfielder Shaun Maloney, despite the club having already had one offer for the Scotland international rejected in January.

There are quite a few quality players between Maloney and Gotze, surely.

Maloney is FAR better than average. He's excellent on the ball and technically very good. Always liked the look of him when Wigan were in the prem.

will be a really good bit of business if we get him in

Then a defender please ( or two)

The Foxes, bottom of the Premier League after 21 matches, are in the market for reinforcements this month and have seen off competition from a number of top-flight rivals

Leicester City have won the race to sign Wigan forward Shaun Maloney, Goal understands.

A number of clubs, including Everton, Aston Villa, Sunderland and Burnley, had been trying to land the Scotland international, but now Leicester have agreed a fee in excess of £1 million.

Maloney is now due to undergo a medical with the Foxes before signing a long-term deal at the King Power Stadium.

The 31-year-old has been with the Latics since 2011 and stayed with the club following their relegation from the Premier League in 2013.

Reports this week had linked him with a move to MLS outfit Chicago Fire, but he now looks set for a move to the top flight's bottom club.

can play any where across the 3 behind a striker and can hit a set piece, even if he doesn't work out £1m is worth the gamble
