Sharpe's Fox Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Old Stamford Bridge looks sound. Even though your far from the pitch there's do much character. Where did the away fans stand?
promised land Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 I can remember seeing those cars parked on the track behind the goal, you sometimes see them in sky sports premier league years in the early 90's. Was it a dog track at one time?
filbertstreet Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 gonna be the biggest stadium in the championship

Bayfox Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 <p> 1 December 2015Last updated at 11:46 3.4K Share Facebook Twitter print Chelsea submit new 60,000-seat stadium plans Chelsea have submitted a planning application to build a new 60,000-seat stadium at Stamford Bridge. The application, which involves the demolition of the 41,600-seat stadium and other buildings currently on the site, will be examined by the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The council have set a deadline for comments on the application of Friday, 8 January 2016. The club say that the planning process will last beyond the end of the season. In a statement on their official club website, Chelsea said that the new stadium would see "facilities improved for every area" and offer an "outstanding view" from every seat in an arena "designed to create an exciting atmosphere". A view of Stamford Bridge as it was prior to redevelopment in the 1990s The new stadium involves both excavation works and the construction of new external concourse areas, including the formation of decking platforms over part of the District Line and part of the Southern mainline railway. Chelsea have played at Stamford Bridge since 1905, and the ground was last redeveloped in the 1990s. However, its current capacity of about 42,000 is significantly smaller than the stadia of Premier League rivals Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City, whose grounds hold 76,000, 60,000 and 55,000 respectively. Blues owner Roman Abramovich had initially considered seeking a permanent new home, with the club describing the option of expanding Stamford Bridge as "not feasible or viable" in 2012. But the club decided to redevelop its current ground because of a lack of suitable sites available in London - having had a bid to build an "iconic" new stadium in Battersea Power Station rejected. Not sure why but I think that image looks ****ing horrendous. What a project tho. Demolishing Stamford Bridge. Moving all that shit out of London and then a rebuild in a residential part of London must be a nightmare and the cost?
Vacamion Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 Liverpool looking very slick, they play Newcastle at the weekend. What price double figures?
st albans fox Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 Liverpool looking very slick, they play Newcastle at the weekend. What price double figures? Perhaps Liverpool might give us a game up at their place this season. with a proper referee it could be a decent watch.
Corky Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 Think it's Dejan Lovren. Made me laugh out loud. Even better that the commentators can't mention exactly what is said and describe it as "a bit of stick".

Harry - LCFC Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 everton banning all their own fans for their celebrations at bournemouth Sad. Small scale pitch invasions like that are somewhat disruptive but there's no harm done by them. Issuing bans is excessive.
AKCJ Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 Sad. Small scale pitch invasions like that are somewhat disruptive but there's no harm done by them. Issuing bans is excessive. To be fair, if I did that I would be too embarrassed to go again. Imagine getting on the pitch to celebrate against Bournemouth only to concede about 15 seconds later hahahaha
lifted*fox Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 Celebrating a goal by running onto the pitch is excessive. Most grounds make it very clear that going on the pitch is an arrestable offence which may result in a ban. You choose to ignore it, go on the pitch, get banned - no right to complain really, is there? Thick as shit football fans in "ignoring the rules and paying the price" shocker.
MC Prussian Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 Wayne Rooney turning into Elvis "Ankle" Hammond: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/35006347 Rojo also out for a while with a dislocated shoulder - makes you wonder how Manchester United manage to have so many injured players at the same time. Simply bad luck or a result of a bad training regime?
Wymsey Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 I actually believe they play better without Rooney on the pitch, and I don't think Rooney pushes himself to the limits at times.
