The rest the same as last week, maybe Dyer for Albrighton/Schlupp/Mahrez. But 1st sentence would be my first priority, Ulloa gives us a plan A +B, with Vardy, Plan C without Vardy.

Sunbury Fox Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 Are they still playing 4 centre halves across the back?Not quite, they have a midfielder, Chris Brunt, at left back, who is clearly uncomfortable there. Zaha tore him apart when Palace beat them comfortably the other week. For me that means we need a tricky player who can beat his man up against him ie Mahrez or Dyer. They are of course a big physical team in the Pulis mould so I do worry that we'll struggle defending set pieces with a keeper who doesn't come off his line and only Huth or Morgan over 6 foot. Benny in for Simpson and Ulloa in for Okazaki would help address that but perhaps we should just play our own game, which has served us so well. So my only change would be Dyer in for Albrighton in a 4231, with Dyer, Mahrez and Jeff behind Vards. Need those 4 running at pace against their slow lumbering defenders. This is no game for whipped crosses from Albrighton, they'll win every header like Palace did last Saturday.
lgfualol Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 Dont want Albrighton to start. I imagine he would have another game full of crosses to 5 ft Vardy when there are 7ft defenders. We need to run at them with our midgets and pass on the floor.

goose2010 Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 I'm not sure Albrighton will start to be honest, pretty much a full game on sat followed by 120 mid week. Dyer is fully rested and will be suited better about WBA as he is better at running at defenders

I'd want Fuchs in that 3 I must say.

However at The Hawthorns the crowd will expect to see some modicum of intent. What a disgusting pragmatic bel lend Pulis is.
