UPinCarolina Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Who's place does Amartey take? Is he someone who can slide in to a bench or first team role right away?
Gerard Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Who's place does Amartey take? I could see him playing in front of the back four in a 4-1-4-1 formation. Ideal for that role as he's good in the air, strong, quick, athletic with defensive qualities and not that shabby on the ball either. Get him in there and it gives our full backs more license to get forward and hug the line that they do at Tottenham. The two wide MF's could be played narrower to support Vardy, maybe Mahrez and Carrillo? given more license to get forward?

EnglishOxide Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 I imagine we are getting him in as cover for Simpson and long term he is De Laet or Wasilewskis replacement.
Stevosevic Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Was is 36, he'll be gone in summer, I imagine he could take his spot on the benah.
MC Prussian Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 I imagine we are getting him in as cover for Simpson and long term he is De Laet or Wasilewskis replacement. Amartey is a centre-back who also slots in at CDM. As far as I can tell, he's never really featured as right-back in his recent career. Well, maybe once.
foxes21 Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 think this is a signing for midfield more then defence?
Vardinio'sCat Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 ...I can see the red tail light Heading for Spa a a in....
Floridafox Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 Such a great time to be a Leicester fan, signing hungry young players like Gray and Amartey, bringing them into a successful side with no pressure to immediately perform. 2015 swept away all the pain of the Levin-Kelly-Holloway years

mozartfox Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 Yes please. This would 'seem' to be a fantastic signing. Please do it CR.
J.Lisemore Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 Just to throw it out there, his FM stats are very decent. Seems to have bags of potential.
dpjfox Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 looks like a player who would slot easy into our squad, young powerfull, committed skilfull and bloody good, potential exciting signing
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 Train him to be our second Kante. He makes me think of John Obi Mikel too - but not sure if that's really a good thing!
4everfox Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 Sign this guy and we have a midfield trio that would be similar to having Scholes, Makelele and Essien.
Babylon Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 Sign this guy and we have a midfield trio that would be similar to having Scholes, Makelele and Essien. Calm down
