EGBFitness Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Don't worry Huth will smash him big time! Well technically he has chatted shit so he will deserve to be banged by Huth
apple987 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Guaranteed playing in Champions League - Leicester Potentially on the bench - Arsenal Yeah can see why he is desperate to go there for Champions League. We are a top seed and although we are new to the whole experience - that should put us in good odds to get a decent group. Arsenal are bottlers in the league and in Europe, if he wants to go there for his 1 knock out game after group stages he is more than welcome to it Arsenal have been unfortunate in it though. How many times have they drawn Barcelona in recent seasons.
katieakita Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 He mentions champions league a lot. He obviously really wants to play in it. We are likely to go out in group stages and Wenger is desperate to win it before he retires. Nobody lives that long, If he goes good luck to him, does that mean i stop supporting Leicester? I don't think so. Walshy seems to have a decent eye for talent spotting and perhaps it is time to move on. Of course if he does go to Arsenal it means the arm injury is probably a lot worse than we thought.
Samilktray Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 It's a good job no 1 has been able to buy a shirt. Nobody will be asking for a refund on there Vardy 9 shirts
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Based on what? Are you an expert on players' values or evaluations? He's closing in on the natural end of his playing career, with maybe two to three, if not four years ahead of him. For all we know, he might rapidly decline in abilities sooner than later. The reported release clause was highly likely included to keep interested parties away in the quest for Premier League title glory, as mentioned previously. I have trust in our management and scouting department who also had a massive influence in this past miracle season. They don't strike me as being stupid and if they regard Vardy as replaceable, then so be it. Based on the FACT the manager who is signing him for £20m saying he would be prepared to £30m for him.. Couldn't be much clearer http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/jamie-vardy-is-a-30m-player-says-arsenal-boss-arsene-wenger-a6785361.html
Corky Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Arsenal have been unfortunate in it though. How many times have they drawn Barcelona in recent seasons. If he's desperate to win it he'll have to beat Barcelona or another top side at some point.
filbertstreet Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 It's a good job no 1 has been able to buy a shirt. Nobody will be asking for a refund on there Vardy 9 shirts I'm still annoyed about my Kramaric shirt, paid a bloody fortune for it
Babylon Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 His silence tell us everything we need to knowit could tell you any number of things, like he's got a decision to make.
MC Prussian Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 I'd try to explain normally but you couldn't be more wrong. We were top in January and we finished top. Vardy played a massive role in that and seemed happy enough and signed a new deal in March time.. We would never ever insert a release clause LOWER than his market value! Players leave clubs all the time but very rarely at their peak and for a lower price than their value!! You think we would actually allow him to leave for a)less than his value b) to a top 4 rival c) when we're trying to build and money is no object. £20-30m is nothing for our owners so why would they create a new clause allowing one of our star assets to go for the lower end of that scale? The clause has to have been in before.. He is worth £30m+ therefore if we put a new clause in it should have been around that mark or higher. After all it was Arsene Wenger who said in December (before he even signed a new deal) thatJamie Vardy is worth £30m+ so clearly clubs did value him that much.. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/jamie-vardy-is-a-30m-player-says-arsenal-boss-arsene-wenger-a6785361.html So, in essence you say Vardy is worth £30m because Arsene Wenger once said so? Players' values are based on many different aspects and elements - not just opinions, no matter what standing the person has giving them.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 I know hes very settled in Melton and doesn't want to up roots. London though is not a bad run. Whilst i don't want him to go, if he wants to then best wishes. We got the best out of him last season as Claudio and the rest of the team fitted in with him, i don't think he will offer the same value to another club. Being asked to play out of his zone against Portugal made him look like a poor park player.
HankMarvin Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 He's a bit weird getting off on pretending he knows stuff. Ambiguous tweets that can be perceived ethier way, covers both bases
Ecdysiast Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 How long do you give it before that lovely mural is defaced? Poor chap hasn't even finished yet.
EGBFitness Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Arsenal have been unfortunate in it though. How many times have they drawn Barcelona in recent seasons. It's the champions league knock out stages. To be the best you have to beat the best. They obviously ain't that good or else they would progress further. Atletico played Barca and knocked them out so clearly they wasn't too unfortunate
ScouseFox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Is the lookalike on here? yeah mate it's @@Miquel The Work Geordie
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 So, in essence you say Vardy is worth £30m because Arsene Wenger once said so? Players' values are based on many different aspects and elements - not just opinions, no matter what standing the person has giving them. Wenger isn't anybody.. This is the manager who is signing him.. Don't you get it.. If someone said i will pay you £500k for your house you wouldn't go back to him and say actually you can have it for £300k
smudger63 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 He mentions champions league a lot. He obviously really wants to play in it. We are likely to go out in group stages and Wenger is desperate to win it before he retires. Aint gonna happen!
Unabomber Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Just been announced over the tannoy at Pets at home in between asking Hank to clean the spilled dry food in aisle 3 and asking hannah to cover Sharon's break. Close thread
Happy Fox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/676794/Arsenal-Transfer-News-Leicester-Claudio-Ranieri-Jamie-Vardy-gossip-news Am I missing something?
nettle Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Arsenal will change the way they play look at the old Arsenal side with Henry in it when Venger was first there. A Counter attacking team with pace up top just like Leicester play now.
breadandcheese Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 It's the timing that's upsetting. I was looking forward to seeing a Leicester player leading the line for England in a major tournament. Looks like it won't happen. Couldn't he have waited till after the euros. He'd probably have Real sniffing around after he wins the golden boot.
st albans fox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Think I've come to realise that the most frustrating thing isn't that Vardy will leave Leicester. It's that he'll go to Arsenal where his style of play and biggest strengths won't be utilised. It'll be a waste. An absolute waste of talent. If he is no longer an LCFC player then quite honestly, I don't give a flying f&ck.
TJB-fox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Many (unofficial) sources flying about saying it was Vardy and his agent that first approached Arsenal about the move not vice Versa
Harry96 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Arsenal will change the way they play look at the old Arsenal side with Henry in it when Venger was first there. A Counter attacking team with pace up top just like Leicester play now. exactly granted vardy isn't Henry but it's just adding another dimension to their attack with xhaka and ozil and Sanchez feeding him could be devastating. think it's easy assumption to make that he'll flop there but I reckon he'll get 15 plus goals easily
foxes_rule1978 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Many (unofficial) sources flying about saying it was Vardy and his agent that first approached Arsenal about the move not vice Versa Re-phrase that to just his agent
