Although Adrien signed a new contract a few months ago, I guess he was told he would be able to leave if a good offer came in for him..... I guess this offer whilst not made formal has been mooted and president has said no, going back on his word forcing Adrien's hand to go to the media - Club Captains don't do that to a club they've been with since they were 12 for no reason. I doubt anybody will come good in all of this but I can't see their Captain staying after all this.

Promises of moves to greener pastures is likely with those numbers.
Tielemans63 Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 Last night I thought this was still on despite the posturing from Sporting's president. However, the fact that they now seem to be blocking the Slimani deal too makes me think that maybe we'll be turning our attentions elsewhere pretty soon as we'll be wasting our time negotiating with Sporting.
