Great all round performance from everyone in the team, but something that caught my eye the most was Amarteys improvement over the past few months, today he played it simple but was very effective, his movement, vision and positioning really broke up the Burnley midfield and it's important he took his chance to perform well against a "lesser" side, as he need to take confidence in the difficult 5 games we have coming up including United, Chelsea x2, Porto and Southampton. Our formations really do require our midfield to be solid which breaks down play and allows players like Mahrez, Vardy, Slimani and Albrighton to flourish and be given the free roles they need upfront, today was a complete masterclass of that, amartey today really started to look like the Kante we want him to be, the guy is 21 years old and will be a massive prospect for the future for us if he carries on how he has. If anyone has any recordings of the game, run it back and focus on Amartey, he was VERY good today. He is the key to filling the role left by NK and he's they key for us being able to unleash the free play of our more attack minded players, without that role filled we really do need to rethink, hopefully we have filled it.
